Anyway game seems pretty crzay technically, even tho i really don't like the way they made logan hobbit sized.
I know it is realistic but being this size and fightinng everyone in the trailer makes him look like a guy an extreme napoleon complex

Good for you for turning your life around thanks to an indie videogame but maybe don't judge other too much since you spent most of your life being what you blame them for.
This forum is a perfect example of that and it's a line of a lot of folks just unhappy with the entire hobby and that's all they can talk about. I've seen folks saying 2025 is a terrible year for games with nothing good to play and I guess unless all you like is racing games… I can't see it.

In the comics he's short. In "Punisher Kills the Marvel Universe" by Garth Ennis, it's the most important part of the character. He's a small hairy smelly glanular excreting little oily course haired dude with all the worst traits you can imagine, lol. Remember this is by Garth Ennis. Anyway, it's my favorite iteration of Wolverine and it would not do to have him show up tall and perfect, that's not who Wolverine is. He's a greasy little guy, lol. Edit: Also he DOES have an extreme "napoleon complex," or better put anger issues, perhaps short man syndrome, everyone always rags him about it and that is why he is called Wolverine, small but fierce. Being short is a key identifier of who he is. Like Jack Reacher being huge.
Edit 2: Also we will never get the Punisher game that I want.

There is no such a thing and it was never a thing, games today have the best gore ever and they never stopped having gore and violence for all these years.
Some people talking shit on a forum is a non-thing, you probably have people that are against tits and asses aswell if you search enough

I don't really know wolverine, but i have old man logan and i like his gait in this one, he doesn't seem tiny, even tho he's fighting the redneck hulk family

Theres nothing to dance around. She looks exactly like mystique. Oh, and mystique COULD BE trans. Shed naturally have an easier time accomplishing that than most lol

I actually really like SM1 and SM:MM. SM2 was awful though, due to the horrible writing, boring side quests, the political messages that are as subtle as a base ball bat over the head, half baked stealth sections, and criminally long walky talky sections. And the leaks of Wolverine all seem to be pointing towards this same situation.
And let me be clear regarding my issue with the political messaging in these games. I'm a liberal, but I can't stand being constantly preached at when I'm trying to just chill and have some fun.

Great that they already started talking about how Logan has another side thats all nice and cuddly, so we could be exploring his possible relationship with Hercules in this one.
Hopefully they can use Mystique as a metaphor for transgender identity struggles in there as well.

Wolverine has always been practically a dwarf, even smaller than in the game.

What I really couldn't stand was the self-fellating 5 minutes recapping the fucking trailer. I'm sick of game devs thinking that explaining less than 2 minutes of what you've just seen with your own two eyes is interesting.
Because Sony is self-sabotage happy, this will at least come out on PC. Actually, resources are being used to prime that eventual port as per the leaks. Disgusting.

i used the comic drawing the other user posted, in fact, i even said the style was dependent on the artist. (there are some ugly ass mystique comic drawing). Not really a Wolverine follower but for Wolverine fans and PS5 owners eager for a great in-house title, I'm hoping they pull this off. I'm more of a Spider-man fan, Maybe I should finally get around to the Insomniac Spider-man games.

In there video at this recent, SOP they said they want the fans to be happy and give the best wolverine game ever, so can they just give what the fans wants especially on the design of the characters? Is that to much too ask if majority of fans wants good looking characters?

Interesting. There are other enemies in the trailer who are wearing combat gear and purple visors, but they are completely covered. I'm assuming the ninjas are completely covered as well. So, the less human an enemy is, the more skin an enemy can show.

Not really. "Great gameplay, terrible story, ugly broads" is an accurate review of their last half dozen projects. To diehard fans and casuals alike. So finding out Insomniac is acquiring new talent specifically known for creating fortune-killing assets and art, it's relevant. Especially with Mystique looking the way she does. There are so many fish in the sea. I have concerns the Insomniac HR department wakes up and says: "wow the people directly responsible for a quarter billion dollar failure are unemployed, we should hire them"

Those are all decent artists but I've never enjoyed the idea that Mystique would make herself look like a 19 year old in any capacity. It goes against most of her earlier appearances and her actual disposition being much more akin to her actual age(she's like 250 at minimum).
Sorry but I much prefer the game look here. But maybe I was simply groomed into that...
Theyre clearly taking inspiration from the movie depiction, which most people liked when it came out.
Mystique does not WANT to appear attractive to non mutants in her form. Again, this is a core part of her character. Her appearance, and her allure, are tools for her to achieve her goals. This is why she stays blue ghastly. She even says this in the first movie when asked why she doesn't choose to look "normal". She says "we shouldn't have to".

Sorry, but I'm not seeing the problem with Mystique here. I was 100% onboard with the irritation over the uglification of MJ in Spider-Man 2. I totally get why people aren't down with Atsu in Ghost of Yotei. But in this case, I'm having a very hard time believing that most of the people complaining about her looks in this game would actually say no to getting ridden by the world's tallest Smurf.
