Something like dl the beast or di2 already smash any gore i saw in this trailer by a landslide.

Not really a fan of their Spider-Man games even though they're obviously very well made (I just get bored with the city environment), but this does look good to me. The only thing I'd change is the colour grading, I'd tone it down a bit. In game filter options would be welcome.

If they have to use freeflow, they should use the quasi-free flow of mad max where there was almost no sliding and correct positioning was important or you would whiff hits.
I think even sleeping dogs didn't had much sliding but i could be wrong.
Also it was heavy as fuck and you felt every punch landing.
But then again, wolvy is pretty fucking agile so jumping from enemy to enemy is more lore accurate than 250 lb batman sliding like a bobsleigh winter tournament...

Jesus...3.5M views for the trailer from the PS channel alone in like 12 hours.
Next year with this game, GTAVI (let's face it, at this point it's almost a PS5 exclusive), Marvel Tokon, Saros, Marathon is going to be a good year for Sony's physical, digital sales, plus MTX and hardware sales.
The only thing stopping PS5 to sell more next year than this year is the lack of a price decrease tbh.

Two very good videos about PS Marvels Wolverine. Even Destin is very interested. Very beautiful and ambitious indeed there vision. I'm excited especially with that fantastic graphics and gore, and we get to see Marvel universe version of Canada and Japan. But still I'm cautious optimistic about the game especially the wokeness level after the woke pride agenda infestation in SM2 which some woke activities are even obligatory not optional. It wasn't even necessary.

Andy (RIP) did such an amazing job that no matter who they got they wouldn't have been as good, in the circumstances Liam did an excellent job.

I am watching the series for the first time right now.
Liam's eyes are dead, same facial expressions every scene. He is not convincing at all when he says something sounds like recited from a script. There's barely any acting there.
Andy was also something like this in the first 2 episodes or so which were rough but then he shined especially in the emotional scenes which he aced.

I think there was a theme around some of these trailers. Wolverine I think definitely would have had a date but Playstation was smart and just did Fall 2026 or just the year so they don't look scared when GTA VI has a new date (if delayed).

I wonder if there will be a special health system due to its healing factor. Like he auto heals if he doesn't take damage for a certain time ?
I am fine with the fact that he can be killed even if not comic accurate (because from the comics I read, it's extremely hard. Guy can grow back all his organs from almost nothing). It's a game in the end.
But would be nice to have a special touch for his healing ability.
Hope it will not be "enemies have a new tech that prevent your healing factor" and it will be a standard HP + healing item system.

Like, how much forced walking dialogues are there?
How many nagging side characters that don't shut the fuck up will be constantly tagging along so players don't feel lonely?
How much is he going to talk to himself?

People seem to have forgotten that significant amounts of gameplay footage and the entire story already leaked. Nothing we've seen in these trailers disputes or contradicts those leaks. The game is just prettier now then when it was earlier in development, just as I predicted months and months ago.

Everyone has different tastes and levels of excitement. I'm glad it didn't look like Spider-Man 2 in terms of the size of the characters.
I look at CRPG games and wonder why people get excited for them or a new COD, but it's what they want.
Maybe I'm bias because I loved playing Wolverine in games since

She is a betrayer who is only loyal to herself. She has double crossed individuals so much that even Charles Xavier gave up on her and sent Wolverine to hunt her down and kill her. She also has been romantically linked to Sabretooth on more than one occasion even bearing him a child. Meaning she has no problem with his brutal nature, the atrocities he commits, and is even turned on by it. She has been an ally in helping him commit them.

I think it looks good from the trailer. As long as the pacing is tight and it doesn't have any bloat it'll be a fun game. Insomniac generally do a great job with movement and combat so I have high hopes they won't shit the bed.

Quoting myself from almost two years when the leaks happened. Nothing about the gameplay has changed since then. They just added more blood and particle effects.
And she "adopted" Rogue as a small child, specifically to train her as a weapon. Mystique is a villain through and through.

My problem is the combat looks like trash he seems to just warp from enemy to enemy looks like a simple button masher with easy AI. Game looks like another boring single player game with nice visuals. It doesn't look like it has difficult or interesting challenging combat.

Actually, I do agree the movement and combat shown does look a bit automated, almost like a mobile game. Hopefully it's more like Arkham, that sort of fluidity.

The action looks good, but it's going to be pretty funny if this game mixes its ultra violence with the same super safe/woke tone of the Spider-Man games. Also, this is a dev who couldn't even make Mary Jane hot - they're not going to make Mystique hot.

There's been a weird push to get rid of gore in video games for a while. I remember a decade or so ago on GAF, people pushed that MK and God of War are gross for the gore that they pushed. I felt like GAF just accidentally let a bunch of prudish politicians and concerned parents in the forum. They were even complaining over the Dead Space 2 commercial where it was talking about your mom won't like it. PS3/360 era stuff was wild too.

Fair enough, I'd personally think its a variation on the Spider Man combat but more brutal and less floaty (no web swinging), which I have no problems with at all as the combat in Spider Man is perhaps its best feature (well, that and traversal). There are clips in that trailer that show that;s pretty much what its going to be so its not that much of a leap.

I hope so because frankly, this Wolverine game looks absolutely incredible to me and I'm hyped! Gore, Wolverine, Mystique's butt isn't distracting me from my mission, so this is the perfect game.
