I'll just say, what it looks like to me is - you lock on to an enemy who is artificially incompetent at harming you, press one or two buttons to pull off a combo animation that triggers a final animation with some blood and guts spectacle. Maybe you volley back and forth with your attacks on multiple enemies depending on how close they are. I wouldn't expect much more than that.

Game devs sent the right message: They want to stay true to the source.
It looks fun, it looks promising.
It looks like a sequel to X-Men Origins: Wolverine — I like that.
This type of game is the reason I bought a PS5.

Sony need to hire you, I was out on this game but after reading your post I will be there day one with the hope these powerfull and strong topics are a main part of the story .

I haven't play Spider-Man games but I guess they will feel the same : cookie cutter, mainstream, AAA game.
I don't say that as a bad thing. I want to play these games at one point. I wouldn't expect a revolutionary gameplay for this type of game. For me their aim is to look shiny and satisfying to look for their biggest target audience.

Game doesn't look actively bad, but neither did SM2. People went full hypebeast for that game only to be disappointed. Once you get over the adrenaline of finally seeing a non-crossgen AAA SP game for the PS5 in place of 1000 remasters and ports, it's really nothing mind blowing.

Well going off insomniacs last game I don't blame some for being cautious. For me we saw very little of the actual game and how it plays but it was a pretty decent first showing.

Need to see more and its ages away, plus for sure will get a delay of some sort so hard to get too excited just yet.

I'm sorry, but are Sweet Baby designing the characters and/or work as 3D artists? Now, I'm not a fan of Sweet Baby, but they won't be to blame for any characters you find unattractive, that will be on Insomniac themselves.

Also, don't go off early leaks, even Wolverine himself looked crap in those now he looks great (and correct height too, the little short-arse)
