"PC Gamepass going away and will be GamePass Standard and GamePass Core and no day 1 games.
Increase in price for GamePass Ultimate to $25 (this may be delayed to 2026)
Cloud streaming included in all tiers
Subscription name changes,similar to PSN tiers (unconfirmed):
Gamepass core -> gamepass essential
Gamepass Standard -> Gamepass premium
cheaper ad based tier
streaming only free/cheap tier, time based and forced ads
PC will be rolled into Standard and core will not have access to Day One launch games. Ultimate will be the only tier with access to day one launch games."

Shinobi602 posted with a grimace face emoji,

"More than that". Shinobi responded to "More than that as in more expensive? Or more changes?" saying "The former", meaning Game Pass might be even more expensive with the rumoured price increase.

How much did game pass normally cost? I had three years of cheapo Xbox Live stacked up and converted to Ultimate for a pittance. Expires next March, sadly.

Update thread title? Core never had Day One games. Ultimate was the tier with Day One, going back quite a ways. Core was the replacement for Xbox Live Gold, + they added a list of 25 curated games from GamePass as a sweetener.
Mostly just a name change. And how is PC Game Pass going away? They're combining it, so it's not separate.

Ultimate was $15, went up to $20 July 2024, I believe. For sure, this is a $10 price increase regardless. Which is...yeah, it's steep.
