They are in for a fight. I hope they're ready. PC gaming culture is completely different as there are no walled gardens allowing them to bully the customer. Most of us just wait for sales or use keysites for new games. Why would we need to rent.
PC gamers breathing a sigh of relief because the PC Game Pass only (lol) went up ~40% should keep in mind that Microsoft made a conscientious effort to not put that plan in their chart and keep it hidden. The exact same way they did with Console Game Pass just before they sunset it and told console players they'd have to choose between Standard or Ultimate.
The writing is on the wall for PC Game Pass, same as it was for Console Game Pass. Eventually you'll be forced into Ultimate for Day Ones, just like console. They're just slowly boiling the old frog.
Wild given that they've abandoned hardware side as well and gone all in on GamePass which is now a single point of failure for Xbox.Lol, what. I think Microsoft are deliberately trying to kill the service.
There is a market of offline steam activations for 10-15% of the price. It could be a hassle, but if you want games for cheap there is almost always a way.Denuvo exists to service this exact market of publishers.
I know doom
And gloom but considering all your getting it's still a good deal. Fortnite crew alone is 12 bucks a month. Again comes down to what you want out of it. Should be a tier that's just a middle ground
Wait till next year, 25th Anniversary!Wait for next-gen, they are making a new console!
LOL
It is such a drastic price raise that it feels like Microsoft is trying to make a bunch of money in the short term before inevitably shutting the service down entirely
Do they have new games though? Like wheres Mafia or BL4 or even something like Stellar blade? I checked the reddits and it seems like the issue remains. People asking for Stellar blade are saying the same thing that it has Denuvo so don't expect it.![]()

Not too sure, I don't pirate personally. But I would buy a game with it, if I could easily remove said trojans.Do they have new games though? One guy did mention there is another way but it's a hassle and you still have to wait a month but he didn't expand on what he was doing and I didn't want to click the link he shared.
I mean, judging by his workplace, guy is totally unbiased

So, uh, he's given up on his pursuit of getting a job with them, eh?
I was already there at the previous Ultimate standard price.Gamepass used to be a great deal because of the Day1 releases. But at 30 bucks a month, it has reached a point where I'd rather just buy my games.
You'll get a new controller design or two. And you'll like it !!Going to be better than all the //Build and E3 conferences rolled in to one.
it wasn'tWasn't Unisoft+ already included before? Are they trying to push this as a new addition? lol
No, they kept PC Gamepass for now, its new price is 16.50$. They will kill it eventually though it's inevitable, just not todaybut from what I can tell that's gone now, if you want day 1 games it'll be $30/month
