This should be a warning to anyone (you know who you are) who is willing to throw themselves in the firing line when a cosumer/competition regulator is doing their job and trying to stop/prevent something from happening.

If you find yourself in a situation where you aren't in agreement with them then it's highly likely that you are too stupid to see why they are attempting to do what they are trying to do.

They have the tools and expertise to see things that you can't - let them do their jobs. Trusting corporations over independent bodies who exist to look out for the consumer is insanity.

It's bullshit. Microsoft has had server farms and data centers established in the US long before the first tariff was levied. I don't care what line Microsoft fed any of these people. The Game Pass price hike has nothing to do with tariffs.

that being said, Lina Khan would have actually had a "i told you so" moment. if she actually argued the case like she's trying to pull out this behind the curtain reveal. At no point in the trial did she bring this "negative to consumers" based on MS's track records, but instead kept pushing on how bad it would be for sony, highlighting that MS would do the same practices Sony was doing (console specific skins, levels, etc.) Had they actually argued on the proper merits of consolidation, instead of how hard it would be for the competitor, and focused on the consumer, it could have been a different story.

She can't say " I told you so" when she didnt argue any of this.
