I know this may sound like a obvious question, but I'm thinking of my back log lately. With release of the Switch 2, I started playing all the games I missed on Switch 1.

Now my backlog of PS5 games has ballooned with a back log in that time as well as all the new releases lately.

Will it make sense to drop everything with the release of GTA 6 and then run the risk of these other games seeming pale in comparison. Or enjoy all these games and hold off with GTA 6 until my backlog is smaller.

How will you deal with GTA 6.

It's barely in my top 10 most anticipated games for next year. So a no.

Actually come to think of it; there will never be a game that makes me 'drop everything' to play it. I like my hobby, but it's not more than that.

It's just a game. Don't be so melodramatic.

For the main story - yeah, I probably will. I'm not planning to play the game exclusively for months and I have zero interest in the online mode.

There's also the case of its price - if it's actually going be to 100 bucks they'll get a pass from me.

Probably not. I found that I'm more interested in watching Bay Are Buggs' GTA6 videos than I am to actually play it myself.

I'm sure I'll buy it but it's just hard to feel hyped for a product that still doesn't really feel real yet.

I don't care about the gameplay but I do care about the US inspired satire world they've created.
Is it gonna be crazier than what we see on the news today. With the anitfa protests. Scratching teslas. Looking like scenes from a mad max movie.
If they started working on the game's story 5+ years ago. I wonder if it's crazier than IRL or have we finally caught up to it.

I still need to play the System Shock remake and a bunch of other games. I only just got to play Deathloop (great game). GTA6 might be a 2028 thing for me

I will take a vacation day or two even, just to get those 12h play sessions out of my system, then I'll probably manage to just play it at the end of the day after work but I doubt I'll touch any other games during that period.

Nope. Bought GTA 4 and 5 on release and never finished them. I realized that I was buying these games for the novelty of an impressive open world city simulator...but for me that wears off relatively quick. I don't enjoy the actual missions or the actual gameplay. I don't enjoy driving to each mission.

Now I suppose 6 could be different but I'm not buying it a launch.
