I'm VERY excited to play it. I never finish GTA games, and I only usually play them for like 2 weeks, while I wander around aimlessly and explore the sandbox.

But those are always an awesome two weeks. And 6 just looks insane.

Hell, I might even play it for three weeks.

No. I haven't been interested in the series since it moved away from its arcadey feel in GTA4. Incidentally, I didn't care for RDR either, my favorite Rockstar game is Vice City, and I'm a huge proponent of the first Crackdown on the 360 for filling that gap that GTA4 left behind (and going pedal to the meta; man, that game's a blast).
GTA5 is a lot more arcadey than GTA4.

i dont generally get rockstars games till they become cheaper, think i paid £12 for RDR2.

open world is not my genre of choice and GTA is just in your face MURICA which gets old fast.

Somewhat excited. No doubt the game will be great but it's kinda far away now and who knows how many more times it may be delayed. Plus, playing through a bit of 5 again recently made me realize I'm getting tired of the underlying open world formula, mediocre controls, and over the top social commentary, all of which has a good chance of returning in VI

Not really.
I'm curious about the production values and seeing what Rockstar can do with a basically unlimited budget on current gen hardware.

But I'm not particularly excited for the game itself. The actual gameplay and mission design in most of their games is very mid.

I probably won't pick it up at launch unless the word of mouth is that the gameplay is actually amazing now.

played every one, but didnt care for the last one. ill be excited when its in my hands otherwise couldnt care less

Nah, these games are kinda boring. I liked em when I was a kid, and I see the appeal, but they just can't hold my attention anymore.

I highly doubt GTA 6 is going to cost €100 / £100

£100 for the basic version would be too aggressive, even for Rockstar. They'd risk massive backlash, bad press, and possibly hurting long-term sales

Plus I doubt there is going to be an early acces version. Their games drop like cultural events: one global release date, everyone dives in together, and the world collectively loses its mind.

They let the product speak for itself and GTA 6 is probably the most hyped game ever. They don't need early access gimmicks to drive sales

If they gated GTA 6 behind early access or slapped a £100 price tag on the standard edition, it would go from a global event to a fragmented, frustrating mess.
Depends on how much currency the fed is gonna be printing from now till GTA 6.

It's the only "next gen" game I'm excited for. When the delay was announced I traded my PS5 for a Switch 2. I'll get a Pro next year just to play GTA6 on my Portal. I'll know I'll get hundreds of hours of playtime from the single player alone

Not excited and I'm tired of hearing about it. GTA peaked with the PS2 trilogy. 4 and 5 were mid games with high production values.

After it drops, it'll be months before it's fully patched and optimized. Then it'll probably be longer still before a PC exists that can run it at 4k/60 at high/ultra settings.

And then of course, there's the actual content. With new leadership comes new direction. Will it even be good? Time will tell.

It's not a day-1 purchase for me, I can say that much.

Very excited, it will keep me going untill FIFA 27 and COD 2026, I will play them all on my Microsoft Xbox Series X and S 💪🟢.

It's the only thing I'm really looking forward to this gen now.

Even taking into account their budgetary advantage, they seem to be the only ones among the larger studios really trying to push the boat out and make a true next-gen current-gen experience that couldn't be had before.

All the big studios spent last gen making PS3 games with much prettier visuals, this gen has just been taking those and turning the dials up a bit (even on non cross-gen stuff). We're roughly two-thirds in and I'm yet to feel like I've played anything that truly requires a PS5 for the core experience + fidelity.

Not really. I'm not even going to consider it until the PC release and the price will play a huge factor in when/if I buy it.

That said there are aspects of the game that interest me more than GTAV or anything else Rockstar has done since.

Well, I guess the 13 year wait has not been long enough for you! :messenger_tongue:

Hate is too strong - I've tried GTA 3 and 4. I bounced off of both hard and didn't like anything about them. I like other open world games, so I just chalk it up to a me issue.

No interest in GTA6.
