It matters to me if it's been hidden. In the US, there seems to be sustained effort to pour money into it without regulation. I say scrap it completely if the public continues to be in the dark about it.

On the contact side, it makes perfect sense to me they haven't reached out or destroyed us. Those are somewhat human ways of looking at it.

So if we continue that trend and look at how we've progressed, there seems to be more efforts to protect species in the wild, protect their simple way of life. Just 150 years ago we basically a had a license to mass murder anything we wanted.

As civilization progresses, even indigenous human species have way more protections to keep them isolated and shielded them from modern life. Essentially, it's overwhelming for them psychologically.

But as a technological species advances it seems only logical their rules for disturbing wildlife would also progress.

I wouldn't be shocked at all if we're in a similar situation. If something is traveling here from another system, we'd be very primitive to them.

We see glimpses, but just enough hints that we're being visited to let our minds wander, but also an easy out if we choose to ignore it all. "Meh its all bullshit." Works for most levels on the psychological fortitude spectrum.

I have alot of questions about the drones. These countries have demonstrated they can shot down drones and we absolutely have the tech to do it. But year after years they keep operating above incredibly high dollar facilities unimpeded.

My reason to believe that there's something odd going on is that the alternate explanations make even less sense than the existence of UFOs. it's just balloons! Drones! Yeah, drones existed in the 19th century... sure.

As said above, this thing has been dragging for centuries. The "government excuse" doesn't add up. We are talking about the biggest conspiracy of all times. Ok, let's asume there's a conspiracy. Then, what's supposed to cover?? what's behind this? I don't find any logical explanation as to why people in gubernamental agencies would put their jobs and reputation on the line for nothing. It's stupid.

We don't know what an alien looks like, let alone what it has in its mind, but we know how humans and governments behave. Some of the theories to dismiss this are nonsense because they clash against any normal human behavior. No nation would ever exhibit their most advanced tech in the skies of their adversaries, with the risk of being shot down and reverse ingeneered. We know for a fact that no military would do this. So, we are dealing with an "uncomfortable exception" that is even more far fetched than aliens.

Just look at allllllllll the cell phone footage we have now of crimes, foolish behavior, natural disasters, etc, it's THROUGH THE ROOF. But you what NO ONE sees anymore? Crop circles, Loch Ness Monster. Big Foot. All that stuff because surprise surprise, now that cameras are everywhere all that stuff is waaaay harder to fake/hide.

So now whenever someone says they saw some shit but there isn't clear high resolution film of it, I call bullshit.
