Square Enix has announced a new Dissiida Final Fantasy game that will be fully revealed on October 14 for iOS and Android.

This new Dissidia Final Fantasy game is a team boss battle arena. The full reveal will be at 10:00 UTC (3 AM PT) on October 14. Check out the official teaser website for the game here. It currently only has some background art and silhouettes for characters, but will likely be updated following the game's full reveal.​

I'm dying to get a proper Dissidia game like on PSP but on consoles…..Dissidia NT was not it….not even close.

Really no point. Shows how bad the state of the series is when I last played Dissidia on PSP and in all that time they have exactly 1 new character to add to the roster. Clive.

So they shut down DFFOO so they could rebrand and sell you a predatory version based on Ever Crisis? Probably what will happen.

Dissidia and Duodecim were great. They screwed us over with DIssidia NT at Arcades and gave a bad version on PC.

DFFOO at the very least was one of the more generous Gacha games.

I was so obsessed I mastered High Guard and Omniblock with the sound off. Arguably the only bad matchup was Jecht's multihit on his charged HP Attacks.

Strangers of Paradise is the best modern Final Fantasy. I would play it way more but I am afraid of having to sort through my 5000+ item inventory to make space.

MLSabre Opponent assists actually made my Exdeath more dangerous since it gave me more opp attacks to YOLO Almagest. And I appreciated the pressure to make opponents attack with Maelstrom bait.

Plus with all the counter variants Exdeath unironically had the most moves at his disposal.

Feral Chaos was pretty beast too.

For mobile gaming to really take off for traditional gaming people need to start making docks.

But I'll tell you why that hasn't happen and won't happen for phones.
People are addicted to their phones they can't put them down. No one wants to put their phone in a dock to play a game and not have access to their phone.

iPads maybe... Apple TV would easily be way to go.. but not phones.

No, because SE is one of the worst mobile publishers. If a game fails to meet their forecasts or revenue targets in any way, they'll pull the plug on it immediately. The mortality rate for mobile free-to-play games from SE is practically 100%, аfter 1-1.5 years.
