[Windows Central] No, Target and Walmart are not removing Xbox products from their stores [Update] Target Confirms

It's even sadder when you notice how Sony's cloud gaming service runs circles around Xbox's.

It's inevitable. In a world of Cloud Gaming, hardware exclusivity is irrelevant. Either Sony expands their Cloud, or gets left behind. And once they expand, might as well just port natively for those who prefer it.

PC, Cloud, Mobile are three pillars of gaming that Sony can't afford to ignore, they also know this.
Is Cloud not dead yet?

If systems are being sent back to MS seemingly around the same time, something is happening that's not a coincidence, and will probably sidestep the optics of heavily discounted systems, it would signal "this brand failed". They would rather buy them back to use as servers or whatever. Of course Sega didn't have that luxury of spending cash to save face which is the Xbox business model
They did the same thing with starfield discs if you remember. Instead of letting the retailers sell them at heavy discounts they ordered them to destroy discs and covered costs.

Come get us ahahahahah
Make no mistake, I will not hesitate to mention names if MS seek my help with their investigation.
Curiously you're the one trying to stifle speech here by suggesting I be removed.
At no point did I state forum posters here would be sued. Several joked about it themselves though!
Directly from Microsoft's playbook. Strongly imply your meaning without directly stating it, leaving an escape route to backpedal through if needed later, like a lawyer. It's actually the exact same move as the article. You sure you aren't from the same ancient ninja school as Phil?

You know what got killed tobi?

Wasn't that guy the co pilot of that aircraft when the engines stalled and it began its death spiral and couldn't help get the engines restarted?

Then during its descent jumped out hoping his Acti parachute would save him only to land completely out of the gaming safe zone?

Maybe I am thinking someone else

Why can't Cloud Gaming have exclusives?

Also cloud gaming sucks due to increased latency caused by the unavoidable laws of physics.

You need a big enough ignorant audience to ignore that fact for cloud gaming to work.

That audience will never coalesce.

Did Phil Spencer kill your dog or something?
He evangelized you, and I'm trying to get you out of the cult.

You had a typical cult member's reaction when their leader is criticized.

Forget it, stay in the sect, m14... you deserve to die on the sinking Titanic.

Every platform gets its own share of FUD. Its always been that way. Before the switch 1 and PS4 launched they were both deemed DOA and that xbox would run away with it. Before the PS5 launched, they said everything would run better on the Xbox and that it would be the leading platform; they also said that PlayStation would not be able to compete with gamepass and all that. Even right now, some would have you believe that the best performing PlayStation generation is actually its worst performing one, and that at this rate, the PS6 will be a clusterfuck.

Or that long-standing meme of PlayStation having no games. Everyone gets their share of FUD.

The problem with MS and Xbox is that their choices actually perpetuate said FUD.

We said gamepass was not a sustainable model and that in addition to prices having to inevitably go up that it would cannibalize physical sales as far back in 2019. Now look at whats happened. It was said that them releasing all their games day and date on the PC and gamepass, waters down the value of their platform not strengthens it... now look what's happened. We said that their userbase is not enough to support their platform, especially after spending more money than PlayStation/Nintendo makes in 3 years to buy one publisher, and that they would end up having to release their games on other platforms like the PlayStation, even after MS vehement denial, and then cagey concessions... look what's happened.

Of every 5 things that is said about MS/Xbox that could be considered as FUD, at least 4 of them come to pass. See how ludicrous it is to think that this is all happening because some people are just spreading FUD? Naaaaa.... this is on MS, and its not even about them seeking out the "actors" and shutting it down... nope, that kinda siege mentality is the last thing they need now. What they need is to start doing shit right... ensure that for every bad thing that can be said, at least one good thing can be said too.

Microsoft FUDs the competition and has toxic positivity about itself

We've been through this before
Except Sega wasn't doing seemingly everything in their power to piss off and betray the trust of their customer base. They weren't screaming at the tops their lungs that their exclusives meant exclusives - only for months later those to appear on rival systems. They weren't buying landmark developers only to effectively destroy them. The Dreamcast was an unfortunate victim of circumstance. It still produced some of the most inventive and memorable games. Many franchises of which have sadly died with it.

Didn't get a chance after Microsoft choked the remaining life out of them.
