About that, I wonder if NVidia is planning to do something else about the chip, like a vastly more powerful Shield TV.What it makes me realize is that I probably don't jump on PC handhelds till I see an Nvidia solution.
Nah, look at that pristine grammar...Did you lend GigaBowser your account?
They'd be fine if they worked like regular physical cartridges and just plugged them in and played. Sure you need to download it first, but it wouldn't be different from needing a day one patch.game keycards are really not that big of a deal and I dont know why gamers are so retarded over them.
They're greedy bastards. Got a switch for my kid for their birthday. My problem with Nintendo is with the software and its price.
Really ?The big issue is importing is dead. You must have a regional account for the region of the keycard to play the game. Previously you could have a European, Japanese, or other Asian card that included an English translation on a North American system. That is no longer possible with keycards.
Not exclusive. It's an exclusive machine for me along with NSO classics and some Switch 1 games. It appears to be good launch year for exclusives: MK World, DK Bonanza, Kirby Air Riders, and Metroid 4. Also Mario Galaxy Remakes for both Switch systems.
It has solid performance for it's power draw, I like the big screen, and the pro controller is comfortable. Good experience so far!
Just get a grip "case" like I did. It's a system for Nintendo games for me, and mostly docked only. (Because of the terrible form factor / grip).
Premium is the PS5 Pro price. Almost double the SW2 price.No. I refuse to pay a premium for hardware and games for last gen graphics. Especially considering Nintendo is price gouging Canadians even more.
I use it quite a bit on trains/planes.Switch 2 for me is for exclusive Nintendo games and (mostly 2D) indies since it's comfortable and easy, I'd never play any modern AAA on it, any 10 year old PC can do it much better. I also never undocked it once, so the portable form factor is a net loss for me.
I'm not even sure where people use their switch outside, it's so big and clunky, and I've almost never seen anyone with one in any kind of transport or wherever actually...
This. I wasn't a part of the hate crowd before release because I don't have a hate boner for Nintendo and I know tech well enough to have realistic expectations.No. I never doubted them to begin with.
Me too, even if I'm worried about its steamdeckification in the long run, with stuff like « lol you're not even connected to the internet, you can't access the game »I use it quite a bit on trains/planes.
