So much better than the remake.Just watched the Danish original of Speak no Evil.

Saw it on Saturday. We enjoyed it. Its more supernatural/horror than the 1st one. First one is definitely more of a thriller. It has a couple of hokey parts, but I enjoyed the story they told and the setting was very good.any want to chime in if Black Phone 2 is worth watching?
I just watched the first one and just can not fathom how a sequel would work or why. It was the least thrilling kidnapped kid film I've ever seen.any want to chime in if Black Phone 2 is worth watching?
Enjoyed both.Should I get the last two Evil Dead movies at $8 a pop?

The Long Walk is my favourite movie of the year.
It's not too gory so could reach a broad audience.
If we're talking truly broad, it might be Final Destination BloodlinesBest "broad audience" horror movie from the last 3 years is...

Conjuring 2
Really great movie with focus on the poltergeist.
Anyone watch this? Was thinking about checking it out. It's at a cinema near me
Just seen that film and it was awful. The Long Walk is my favourite movie of the year.

Yeah, I saw review I didn't know he was a YouTube guy. I don't know him from Adam will check it outThats the youtube guys film isn't it? It not supposed to be very good by all accounts.
I wasn't too fussed about Weapons but really enjoyed Bring Her Back. Both Weapons and Bring Her Back are the best horror movies this year in my opinion. I've watched a ton of horror but these two stuck out the best, with Long Legs and The Long Walk coming in not too far behind.
Its this dude he pops up on my feed from time to time. I don't really pay much attention to reviewers, especially Youtubers, but he seems to have a decent following.Yeah, I saw review I didn't know he was a YouTube guy. I don't know him from Adam will check it out
Does the doggo get hurt? Kinda a deal breaker for the wife.Just finished watching this with the missus :

...we liked it .
It's a shudder production so it's obviously low budget, but, films like these just goes to show that having a clear vision for a project and some good directing is enough to create a good, proper horror movie unlike the friggin' multi-million bloated star-ridden bullshit like the Conjurings or what have you...
Doggo was amazing, OST and sound production were more than OK and the atmosphere was great.
Also, the runtime is short (1 hour and some change) so it doesn't outstay its welcome - in comparison again to that latest Conjuring shite which was 2+ hours long for no reason whatsoever.
A solid 6.5 out of 10 watch.

Goddamn, what a film .. what a film.
Extremely depressing but what a film.
That dog scene is big OOF and still sticks in my head whenever I think about this film
The scene where the possessed mom is casually walking down the road eating her kids literal brain like its a scoop of cookie dough got me real good, like what in the FUCK !
I started watching it, but had to stop to wait for a day when I'm in a better mood as it felt too unnerving.. I'm Nordic, but there's something about European movies that always feels much more realistic than American ones. They just get under my skin in a completely different way.So much better than the remake.
Yes it's raw and unforgiven.I started watching it, but had to stop to wait for a day when I'm in a better mood as it felt too unnerving.. It still kills me that they had Busta Rhymes fight Michael Myers while making his own kung fu noises. It's just too good.Just watched Halloween III for the first time last night. Not sure why I never got around to it before. But I had no idea it wasn't a Michael Myers movie.
It wasn't really that good lol.
Too soon.RIP to James Ransone

I actually really enjoyed seeing him in the few horror movies he was part of. Always a great actor.
A guilty pleasure of mine is the movie Shocker, border line horror and just terrible. But the sound track is really good, so it's stuck with me all these years. Skinner from X-files plays the lead. My brain these days doesn't appreciate horror movies, it's hard to be scared now.
But was scared shitless of Friday the 13th in the 80's, nightmare material.
Hell yeah man Paul Stanley in his prime & Desmond ChildA guilty pleasure of mine is the movie Shocker, border line horror and just terrible. But the sound track is really good
Sorry didn't mean to seem insensitive I hadn't read the post above mine. RIP
I don't remember who in here posted about this movie but the trailer dropped. Same guy that did Oddity and Caveat. Can't wait, I skip a lot of horror films (the mass appeal hollywood stuff) but I can't wait for this one.
