After Zenimax Online Studios layoffs by Microsoft, devs behind ESO and cancelled MMO Project Blackbird form Sackbird Studios

No one is going fund a new MMO. but maybe they will do a offline ES clone.. has to be better than Avowed.

Project Blackbird, Zenimax Online Studios cancelled MMO from Elder Scrolls Online devs lives on in the new Sackbird Studios.

I don't know how they are going to develop this MMO without funding, I hope they get funded by some publisher like Sony. If done properly this could be another Everquest.
Have they said they are developing an MMO? Hopefully they gonna different direction - self funding an MMO sounds like suicide.

They were going in a different direction than ESO, with Blackbird. Blackbird is a PvE shooter.

Internal gameplay impressions were really good, but I guess we willl see when the footage releases.

To me this is very hopeful news.

Also the amazing MS Paint says "not a MMO"

ohh its not a MMO. I don't know why I was thinking its a MMO.

And unlike the others who came later, we were built from the ground up with a specific goal of creating massive online games, the first of which was to be set in the Elder Scrolls world.
Maybe its a MORPG like PSO and Destiny. They still need funding of a big publisher like Sony.

It was never fully confirmed. The only thing known was that it was a PvE shooter that had positive internal impressions.

So yes, it could be a Warframe or Destiny-like, or it could be something else. Wayfinder proved that it's not that difficult to turn an MMO into a co-op PvE game though.
