Every 2nd or 3rd post is now promoted. This makes reddit completely unusable. The usual ad blockers don't seem to work there.

Reddit Enhancer is great for this. You can customize Reddit in pretty much very way with it.

I know you said you sorted it, but DNSnet works well for me on android, even blocks ads in freemium apps.
