Why are people playing 6 out of 10 or 7 out of 10 games when there soooo many 10/10 games

Dreams of a world where inflated review scores save studios
I'm looking at my friends list and people are wasting their time playing all these random games. I on the other hand have standards and only play perfect games. I'm not telling you what you should play but cmon, why are you not playing better game when time is so limited.
Don't even get me started on 5 out of 10 games. 8s and 9s I approve of.

Name those 10/10 games dickface. Give is some examples mate. And you need to stop posting these useless thread, either you're subtly trolling or trying to get your thread making privilege removed.

Most reviewers 10/10 means sweet blow fuck all. If I bought my games based on reviewers then there are plenty of amazing games I would have missed out on that they game 5/10, 6/10 etc.

Edit: Nevermind the OP, he's the one that created the thread bitching that he can't play his Xbox games on PS5 and why should he be forced to buy PS5 versions if he already bought the game once. I fail to take anyone like that serious

Because things are subjective and other thing moght align with you more like the art style or story of a 5/10 game instead.

Do you also listen/watch 10/10 music/movies/TV shows only?

Wait, are you serious..? Or trolling? I mean, someone's 7/10 game might be someone else's 10/10. Every single review is subjective. This is elementary stuff.

If you're talking about metacritic "10/10" games, I couldn't care less about general population or outlet review scores.

At this point more interested in games that picque my interest. Doesn't always work out well, but neither does chasing games that were supposedly a 10/10.

A lot of these so called 10/10 from reviewers/journalists are often boring ass shit, even more so when they pad out the total playtime.

Because taste is subjective? I'd rather play a 6/10 janky Bethesda-esque RPG than a 9/10 puzzle or anime game.

The premise of this is silly

10/10 games don't exist, there's no such thing as a perfect game. I often prefer games that score in the 70s or low 80s, because they tend to be more fun than those perfectly polished, play-it-safe AAA titles that try to please everyone.. Many 90+ games feel overrated anyway, probably boosted by biased or paid reviewers, fanboys, or critics afraid they won't get a review copy next time.

You'd think GigaBowser would at least be subtle with his alt account, yet here we are.

We know it's you. Try harder on the next alt.

I've always been curious about the people who create topics like this. Could you describe your thought process and what inspired you to create such topic? I'm just interested for scientific purposes. :messenger_tears_of_joy:

"I'm not telling you what you should play."

Yes, you wouldn't want to open that particular door and leave yourself wide open for mockery now would we?

When my friends tell me they are playing mediocre stuff like Silksong, Arc Raiders, Hades 2 or Expedition 33 instead of Magic Pussy: Chapter 3

Because a 10/10 for someone might be a 7/10 for another.

I enjoyed games like Hell is Us, Cronos: The New Dawn, and Stellar Blade more than Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Baldur's Gate III, and Tears of the Kingdom, for example.

Sometimes I just prefer to play a game that's about a 6, so that it can be mixed in parallel with a game that's 9, it creates a NICE vibe in my soul...

I on the other hand have standards and only play perfect games.
Sometimes I can't tell if you make these threads as joke lmao.

You know how cilantro tastes like Soap to come people?

A 7/10 to you may be a 9/10 for someone else. All these scores are subjective.

Haven't paid attention to scores since the VG&CE days. I've played and loved some true dumpster fires. Also I don't feel like I need to min/max my gaming fun, sounds like a chore.

If you see so many of your friends playing those games... Why don't you ask them????

Besides a lot of those 10/10 games have become outdated with time that even playing then require a near Homeric effort. I rather try the new bubsy than playing super Mario bros.

People choose games based on their taste not because score…..just because some reviewer give a game 6/10 doesn't mean you might not enjoy the game.
