I want to say Nintendo, the entire switch generation has had Mario this Mario that, two Zelda games that we love, when we're talking about Sony they've been semi-consistent with exclusives, but there's only been 1 GT, hello? Where are the Astro bot sequels? I think people expected more from Sony. I root for Microsoft but their releases haven't been great (gears/forza/halo) and now halo infinite I admit is beautiful, but that's a different story.

Who is consistent with AAA exclusives?

I'd say Nintendo and Valve.

Nintendo, no matter the generation they hate their fans.

Hearing that yet another Pokemon game is selling millions just makes my blood boil.
Nintendo and the fans buying anything they make. :(
So is the new Pokemon actually good?

Sony. By far.

A lot of Nintendo games are highly over rated. As are some of Sony's but nowhere in the same number. Just for consistently pushing tech Sony deserve the W.

Mario Odyssey for example

Nintendo, they have to be.

Nintendo consoles live and die based on what Nintendo releases. Sony on the other hand relies on 3rd party to move units, their output this gen has been questionable at best and it doesn't matter because their consoles sell for Call of Duty, FIFA, etc.

Very hard to pick one but Nintendo takes the prize.

Xbox - Consistently fucking up since X1 launched
Sony - Consistently boring and unimaginative AAA games since Ps4 launched
Nintendo - Consistently milking and re-re-releasing the same games for 30 years and everybody laps them up , they'll even buy a 70$ piece of cardboard just because it's Nintendo.

This.

Everyone can name all the Nintendo franchises: Mario (2D/3D/Party/Kart), Zelda, Metroid, Donkey, Pikmin, Smash. And they've all been around for decade(s) now, and all have titles on the former and current gen.

Sony? GT, God of War, TLOU, Horizon..Ghost of?

Dead Sony Franchises (0 releases out or planned for this gen):
Killzone
Uncharted
inFamous
SOCOM
LBP
Jak & Daxter
Resistance
Syphon Filter
Days Gone

If you want a cinematic experience, you choose Sony.
If you want a great gameplay experience, you choose Nintendo.
If you want none of the above, you choose Microsoft.

Can't think of a Sony or MS game that wasnt forgettable as fuck since 2020 with TLOU and Wasteland

Sony games are great lately If you started playing videogames like 1-2 years ago, Ubi style, but more polished

MS is great at launching over priced flops and games nobody asked for, like that walking lighthouse one

Sony, except Cerny, sounds like they hate their former self constantly.

Exclusives = Nintendo.
AAA exclusives = Sony.

2014: Infamous 2nd Son
2015: Bloodborne
2016: Uncharted 4
2017: Horizon
2018: Spiderman & God of War
2019: Death Strading + Days Gone (Meh)
2020: Ghost of Tsushima + TLOU2 + Demons Souls Remake + Miles Morales
2021: AAA? - Returnal - Ratchet and Clank
2022: Horizon 2, GT7, God of War Ragnarok

Nintendo for sure, even though they've sucked at managing Pokemon as an IP.

Sony's exclusive output has reduced in both quality, innovation is lacking and their games are taking longer to make.

Microsoft has been scattershot post-360 era.

It's Nintendo, but I suspect this is because their weak hardware allowed them to develop games faster and more cheaply.

Let's see how that changes with the higher specs of the Switch 2.

Only one has consistently been a reference, and almost a synonym, for video games for 40 years, constantly reworking and revising their IPs and turning the tables at every new generation, even when the risk in doing so was astronomical.

Sure, if you value the consistency in releasing one massively successful plastic box and in keeping raking in the profits with your subsequent plastic boxes thanks to the undiminished brand impact of that first plastic box, then that other one may take the cake here.

Days Gone meh? In what universe?

Sony PS brand. From a humble Ps1 and now Ps5, all winning the console war and now on the way to Ps6, that is a great achievement. In terms of software, well it stagnated especially exclusives with bad decisions on gaas and some woke infestation.

Nintendo imho, mostly because they're expected tot experiment and innovate even if it's only a little - and they always deliver on that. Bananza was unhinged and creative as heck!

Sony on the otherhand keeps making similar cinematic games that I don't really care for. I want more Splatoon and portable MonHun and Xenoblade and weird Mario games, Bayonetta, Kirby, Pokémon, Animal Crossing, etc.

Im still waiting for a great (looking) Pokémon game though. And the 70-80 euro prices are bs.

Microsoft. The creators of Halo, Elder Scrolls, Doom, Call of Duty, Forza, Wolfenstein 3D, Quake, Diablo, Warcraft, World of Warcraft, Starcraft.

Who comes close?
