Just curious how much time people have put into Arc Raiders so far.
I'm at 74 hours, been playing since launch day on ps5.
Never tried the tech tests/betas.
You can find your hours played in the codex under player stats.
The games been out for just over 400 hours at the time I'm posting this.

Just to explain why I'm hooked:
It's the tension, it's constant.
When you're searching containers, listening carefully for footsteps or gunfire sounds.
Never knowing at first whether someone you run past is friendly or not.
Running to an extraction point with the part you came specifically looking for on a free loadout, so no safe pocket, so you're praying you can extract without isssues.
Ever hear of the Dark Forest theory? The idea is that you never know the intentions of anyone you come across, so you're constantly calculating whether to show yourself and trust them, or destroy them before they get you.
And the Arc themselves, running across any open space gets your senses fully aware of the sky and your blood pumping, getting caught out in the open with only a few trees or large rocks as cover against wasps and hornet is thrilling and fun. They are a great enemy, the electronic screech the wasps/hornets make when they detect you and start to attack, the constant jet engine sound of a rocketeer overhead when you're hiding in a structure from it........and another raider comes through the front door yelling "friendly".
And in the back of your mind you're again calculating, "Well they SAID 'friendly'"....but they're not looting and just looking at you with their gun out....

Just checked and i got 74 hours too.

Still prefer Dayz still games with persistent worlds where you physically build your bases and store the loot there, but this is still a nice game, and it's better for short sessions, can see myself changing my League of Legends games between hours when i'm bored for some incursions in this game in the future

Under 50, and I think I am done. There is only so much trash I can pick up from the same bins, and the pvp aspects don't entertain me enough to keep going.

It was good for those 50 though.

110.

Ate, slept a bit and played the game and not much else since it came out.

oh almost forgot, took a dump as well.

Didn't you post all this in another arc raiders thead as well?

What do you do? Smoke a bong then have random Arc Raiders anicdotes ready to go at a moments notice?

50 hours so far, I like it a lot. But I'm still not a big fan of third person PvP and probably never will be.

I'm at 92, but my friend group, myself included, are getting real tired of losing everything when ganked, which seems to be happening with increasing frequency. I'm not sure how much longer we'll continue to play it. By the sound of it, we're getting close to the end.

About 100 hours. All quests done, over million in credits. Level 62 i think, still missing quite a few blue prints though.
Not playing as much solo now, i wait till friends are on to help them.

<1hr.
Did tutorial, played first match. Tried to kill a player and the ttk was so long, I died.

Meh, not for me, not a fan of the big ttk in BR/extraction shooters.

You can delete players just as fast as say in warzone under the right circumstances. If you played less than an hour you probably had the shitest gun.

I'm at 34 hours so far on Steam and have been having a great time. I'm not really sure how to progress in this type of a game as I tend to die to aggressive players more often than not and lose all of my stuff. Right now I'm just focusing on the current event and trying to get that done before it ends.

Why don't you have a seat and let me tell you about another game that might interest you...

But yeah, i am gonna get Marathon, but probably just not day 1.

I'm at 10 or less. Bought the game the week after release but barely touched it because I needed to be in the right mindset for what I assumed would be 45 min+ matches, finally I just dove in and I'm enjoying myself. Just not in love

This is my worry with the game.
Depends on what you want out of it. The first hours scratch the loot goblin itch and the discovery was fun.

There isn't enough gun variety for me to enjoy the pvp, and the variety that is there is reset if you lose a match. Also there wasn't a single gun that I found particularly fun.

I didn't find it to be the mind blowing experience that some made it to be. It's a good and easy to get into extraction shooter.
