Those of us who watched the dotcom bubble burst happen in real time are just getting the popcorn ready. If the AI bubble pops then our economy is pretty fucked. But it'll be fun to buy a bunch of dirt cheap computer parts.
AI has become a bigger problem than crypto and covid, combined.
I hoenstly can't wait to see what the december deals look like when these coprorations realize people have fuck all in regards to spending money this holiday. Here in Mexico, we have a similar week... We call it El Buen Fin (The Good Weekend). And even with all the sales they advertised... Nobody went to buy anything.
The companies are now even more desperate... It's a race to the bottom.
I'm ready to buy a top-of-the-line foldable cell phone... But until I see some easy ways to get one, I'm not buying anything.
I have a 4070 ti super and 64 GB DDR5-6000 in mine and all I am thinking of doing is getting a new CPU. I really want a 9950X3D. Curious to see if the RAM squeeze causes a slowdown that might lower CPU prices due to people pulling back on new builds.I guess I will be riding my 32gb with a 4070s rig until the damn wheels fall off. I refuse to take part in purchasing hardware at these prices.
I'm not fucking upgrading.

That's not because of China... That's because of orange. This is a small taste, an aperitif of things to come if China invades Taiwan.
Please post these mythical places where I can get RAM for fairly low prices. That is just a troll listing. You can still get 32gb at fairly low prices elsewhere
I member when there was a shortage of PS3's because they were getting bought up to make datacenter superclustersSoon Industry will be buying PS5's to strip them of their guts to put in server blades.
TBH the only thing you're missing is more frames.I guess I will be riding my 32gb with a 4070s rig until the damn wheels fall off. I refuse to take part in purchasing hardware at these prices.
I'm not fucking upgrading.

Crazy how my PC is just quietly trebling in value while they are having to heavily discount PS5s to shift them.
Oh shit, how old are you? Those of us who watched the dotcom bubble burst happen in real time are just getting the popcorn ready.
"heavily discount". It's now the same price as launch in the USA for some models and 50 cheaper than 2020 launch in europe lmao.Heavily discount. Do you even know what the launch PRICE was for the PS5?
I was of course referring to the current price being heavily discounted from the regular price, but isn't the disc version also cheaper right now than at launch?"heavily discount". It's now the same price as launch in the USA for some models and 50 cheaper than 2020 launch in europe lmao.

That's how holiday discounts work.Crazy how my PC is just quietly trebling in value while they are having to heavily discount PS5s to shift them.
All i know is th secona PS6 is made available for preorder i'll be there. If it comes out in 2028 it will probably only have discounts that are bigger than its launch price by 2033 or something lol.It goes without saying and coming from someone who laughs at the PS5 before they are released, buying a PC brand new for gaming purposes should be on hold till further notice unless you find good prices for used parts.
Ram being as expensive as a whole console is a joke.
With that being said I think console prices will rise again because of ram
