Let's say you find a real Death Note and a shingami appears before you, would you use it?
You don't really have to hate anyoneI dont hate anyone enough to wish then dead
I only watched once....I didnt remember that. The rule states that if you use it, you can't have an afterlife no? No heaven / hell.
If that's the case, no.
It's literally me at work.
Been a while since I watched the anime. Can you write in your own name?Let's say you find a real Death Note and a shingami appears before you, would you use it?
Well if you use Death Note your soul will never go to heaven or hell, so yes that would make me not want to use it. If I hate someone that much I will not sacrifice my soul for their sake.Anyone who says "no" is a fucking liar.
That Death Note be oddly specific, eh?I just read all the rules:
Core Rules
- The cause of death must be written within 40 seconds.
- Details of the death must be written within 6 minutes 40 seconds.
Time & Control Rules
- You can manipulate a victim's actions for up to 23 days before death.
- You cannot kill someone under 780 days old.
- "Old age" cannot exceed 124 years.
Mechanics of Writing Names
- You cannot kill the same person twice.
I only watched once....I didnt remember that.
I just read all the rules:
Core Rules
- The human whose name is written in the Death Note shall die.
- The cause of death must be written within 40 seconds.
- If no cause is specified, the person dies of a heart attack.
- Details of the death must be written within 6 minutes 40 seconds.
- The user must have the person's face in mind while writing the name.
Time & Control Rules
- You can manipulate a victim's actions for up to 23 days before death.
- You cannot force a victim to perform physically impossible actions.
- A cause of death must be feasible and realistic.
- You cannot kill someone under 780 days old.
- "Old age" cannot exceed 124 years.
Ownership & Afterlife
- Anyone who uses the Death Note can neither go to Heaven nor Hell.
- A Shinigami accompanies the human owner of the notebook.
- A human who relinquishes ownership loses all related memories.
- Memories return if the person touches the Death Note again.
Visibility Rules
- Only those who touch the Death Note can see and hear its Shinigami.
- Touching any part of the notebook allows a person to see all Shinigami connected to it.
Mechanics of Writing Names
- The Death Note will not work if the writer does not know the victim's face.
- Nicknames, stage names, or false names do not work.
- Writing the name while thinking of multiple faces will cause the note not to work.
- Once written, the cause of death cannot be changed.
- You cannot kill the same person twice.
Transfer & Possession
- Ownership of the Death Note can be transferred to another human.
- Upon transfer, the Shinigami follows the new owner.
- Losing or giving away the Death Note causes ownership (and memories) to vanish.
Shinigami Rules
- Shinigami extend their life by killing humans using their own Death Notes.
- A Shinigami who saves a human will die.
- A Shinigami may possess more than one Death Note.
- Only a Shinigami can kill another Shinigami.
Special Rules
- Writing "dies of old age" only works if the age is 124 or less.
- The "13-day rule" is false (a fabricated rule by Light Yagami).
.... 6 is huge.
I would ask about the lore of the world; the "biblical" aspect of it.
Depending on the answer, I would use it or not.
There being no such places, and such places being beyond the Shinigami's realm of perception, would look exactly the same to it. A character in the Death Note universe would be unwise to take its opinion on this matter as gospel.the Shinigami says there's no such places
The same thing that happens already - nothing. So what happens to you if you don't go to heaven or hell?
You gotta get that tiny handwriting going, or you're gonna burn through paper like crazy.Bro I'd run out of paper within a week.
