🏈 NFL 2025

Steelers currently losing, Raven's won 3 straight.

I've enjoyed watching Mac Jones Time© unfold on the 49ers... hard not to like a backup QB who has 5 wins this season in difficult circumstances, often with major weapons out, and only having been with this team for a few months training as backup before suddenly having to start 8 games.

They lost to the Rams today, but not so much Mac's fault, he had pretty solid numbers.

also... lol

(I don't actually think they should keep benching Purdy once healthy again; he took them into OT in a Super Bowl not long ago after all, hard to not call that elite... but Mac could easily be a strong starter again on some other team with right support)

I'm 6-6-1 in my fantasy and have the most points scored in my 12 man league. Every loss I've had just ends up being that teams best week. Terrible luck.

My poor Colts

I was never in long term on Daniel Jones and the team having him play through a fractured leg was insane and now looks like he possibly blew out his Achilles?

Plus we traded away a part of our future on Sauce Gardner?

The refs did the Chiefs dirty in the 2nd quarter. How do you fall down on your own and get a free DPI? That 10-0 never should've happened.

My poor loser Jets.
What a culture of failure.
People have to speak with their wallets but that will never happen as their games are always sold out.

If you think that was bad, you should see how bad the refs did the Colts dirty the week before against these same Texans.

Pulled off a couple good NFL bets today. $20 paid $83 and $15 paid $42.

The best part was the $15 ticket had a payout of $64 I think. Suddenly out of nowhere, the site offered me a cash out late in the 4th for $35 then it bumped to $42. There was 3-4 min left in the game and I needed literally 1 yard for Mason on Vikings to make my parlay ticket. He was at 29 yards and needed him to get a measly 30.

I chickened out and cash out. Vikes were winning and the logical thing is they'd get the ball at some point and run out the clock and maybe run play or two, Mason gets his yard and miss out on the extra $22. Turns out they did get the ball back and ran with JJ McCarthy or Jones instead, and Mason never got his final yard.

For once cashing out early helped! The number of times I cashed out early and it ended up totally coming in way more than cashing out early and making the right decision. Tonight it was the right choice!

The bad man is benched. If Tua never plays another snap, I think he ends up being around the #5 worst all-time deal. Watson, Haynesworth, Rison and Wilson are about the only I can think of ahead of this bust of a deal since they also gave up draft picks on top of contract.

That contract was crazy given his well-document injury tendencies even prior to NFL.

I don't think he was bad in his first years at Miami, when healthy -- actually had some standout performances that seemed like a possible franchise QB on his way to the next level if (big if) he kept progressing. But after the concussions, he just regressed hard and has been worth nothing to the offense. He could have retired after that last concussion, walking away with plenty of remaining respect... but he carried on and gave a terrible series of games after.

Sad story. But he'll be fine lol, can retire in wealth.

Since his cap doesn't leave much to spend on a new QB, my dark suggestion is: go get Mac Jones at a bargain. He's fun to watch, has the connection with the Bama players (Mac was also QB for Waddle), and would cost very little to take as a starter for a while.

He'll likely be a backup the rest of his career and bank several more millions of dollars without putting himself in any real risk of injury. Not a bad gig if you ask me!

I want to see a Bears vs Patriots Super Bowl.

Arnold Rodger's inherited a bad offensive, is 40+ and is making impossible passes for the likes of Burrow, Mahomes, Lamar look easy, Steelers also got DK, an army of crazy fans.

Browns vs Bills will be a war.

I doubt anyone is getting Mac Jones at any sort of bargain. He played just as well as his monster contract teammate while filling in. He's going to be a hot commodity for San Fran to listen for trade offers. A bunch of teams with quarterback needs are likely looking at him and the trade capital is probably going to be very high. Sure, the dollars are low for next year, but do you mortgage your future for him?

Who can forget, Leon Lett in the snow!

Guess i'll be rooting for the Broncos now, Chiefs have no shot at making the playoffs.

You can always spot the casual fans who are like "oh my favorite team is bad now, time to start cheering for my other favorite team, a DIVISION RIVAL"
