Ours is a big to do. We rent out part of the convention center and it goes all night. I'll leave not long after dinner though. So maybe 3 hours at most for me. I have no desire to get drunk with my coworkers.

I've seen so many coworkers get absolutely shitfaced and lose their dignity at our launch parties and Christmas.
They seem to forget you'll eventually have to face everyone back at work.

I remember one of our top producers sitting in her own vomit in a corner struggling to scroll on her phone on the floor.

Now everytime I would see her at work I would still say hello but quickly went like this after walking by:

That's why I skip my office party every single year. Can't be sober at boring shit events like that and shouldn't be drunk at boring shit events like that.
 
After the Game Awards I'll stay away from our gaming section for a bit.
Some of the nitpicks and complaints border on mental illness 😆

But I get it we're all "passionate".

I'll stay here in our cozy Hideout.
