It doesn't live rent free in my head 2 days later nor am I questioning anyone liking the trailer for what reasons they liked it and even less insinuating that it's liked and hyped because of bestiality.

I will buy the next Larian game if it's not a crpg. (They just aren't for me, but I love the world building).

This trailer, I don't know. Seems like it's trying too hard to be edgy. I like darker tone games for sure, but this feels cheap.

Swen hinted "hopefully before 2030" (he was half joking about his wife divorcing him if it took longer), and with the massive cash from BG3, a huge staff explosion (over 500 devs now), and their fully in-house tech, they're way more optimized for speed these days.

Plus, now that they're completely free from the D&D license and all its approval hoops, that should speed things up even more, so no more external roadblocks.

But yeah, Swen also keeps calling it their "biggest and most ambitious RPG yet," explicitly bigger than BG3. So we're potentially getting an even larger game in roughly the same timeframe it took to make BG3... which is kinda insane when you think about it

2029 looks like a safe bet. Hopefully earlier.
