For the first claim, one could easily say as a rebuttal the name: Viola Davis.

Budget-50 million. Box Office---19 million opening, 97 mill total. Flop

This is what I mean. A film ostensibly directed towards males, war, martial prowess, conquest, etc. But fronted by a woman. Everything about the marketing of that film was aimed at guys. It's not just her either. Ballerina as well. Its ALL OF THEM. Do you think Milla Jovovich is gonna rock the world with Protector? Nope. Statham in A Working Man also just fell shy of 100 mill box office, but the budget was only 40 mill, so it likely made a little scratch. We will see if Shelter beats Protector.

Her main draw is acting talent and everyone knows this.

Ain't no dudes rushing to theater to see Davis act. They didn't for Woman King. They may see a film that happens to have Davis in it, sure, but not BECAUSE she is in it. That "fighting president" movie (which, strangely, is becoming it's own genre of late) she was in on Netlfix? maybe, didn't really knock the doors down but I watched it because the premise of "sorta kinda like Die Hard meets White House Down" still works.

But there is one major difference between men and women.
Men look at Cavil and will consider exercising and eating better, to improve themselves and look better. Even if they know that they will never look as good as him. Men will look at him as an example to follow.
Women will look at Sidney and hate her because she is fit, healthy and pretty. Very few will look at her and think of her as an example to follow. They will only look at her as a target to take down.

Jean commercials for MEN shouldn't show the jeans on some twink 'all cheekbone' doofus standing aorund looking constipated. Ads FOR MEN show a guy using the jeans as an improvised tow strap for his jeep to pull a convertible out of the mud, while full of girls in bikinis. The allure of products FOR MEN show what the product can do, or sell us the fantasy that we might also do these things with said product. Women respond to the notion that a pair of jeans might make their fat ass and hanging gut magically disappear and give them a svelte hourglass shape, men respond to the notion that a pair of jeans might get them chopping wood or hiking up Everest.
