Slop bowls are out. Slop cups are in

Wouldn't they just call this a side at any other restaurant? Wish i could time travel just to have a taste of what we used to have, all modern fast food sucks compared to what we received in the past.

I buy chicken for 99 cents per lb in California, where groceries aren't even cheap. This is despite inflation and all the craziness going on. Chicken is fucking cheap.

One of the benefits from working from home is I can make 100% of my meals easily

They used to call this a side order of chicken and it cost $1.50.

Everything these days is high protein. What is up with this trend? If I want protein, I will buy three cups of cottage cheese. Same price as this processed shit and twice the protein.

Meanwhile, in Japan

Food in Japan is next level. I lived there for most of my adult life, even the side alleys and streets with vending machines dispense healthy and delicious fast food the likes of which you cant find anywhere else in the world.

Imagine a fucking noodles and miso soup dispending machine next to the gas station that puts out food you pay $50+ in the USA lol. Most food is organic and locally produced, seafood right on your door step, worlds best home grown grass fed wagyu beef, matcha tea.. shits crazy for real I loved it.

No wonder the Japanese are all so healthy, the readily available tasty and healthy resteraunts all over the place, worlds best sea food, amazing noodles and gourmet places if you can afford it. I became a fat ass nigga within months LOL.

Gen Z has been more into health/fitness influencers and those influencers recommend eating more protein 99% of the time for gains. Popular streamers and celebrities who aren't directly known for health and fitness, have also been collaborating with health and fitness influencers thus spreading the influence to more audiences.

Millennials and older were raised on an incorrect food pyramid, carbs-first, sugary drinks, cigarettes, processed snacks, and high fructose corn syrup. Not all, but quite a few.

I'd say what Gen Z is doing is technically a positive trend, and I just hope it holds up and grows further over the years.

Ah okay but eating processed chicken and protein bars is still not the way to go. The whole fitness influencer industry is a fucking joke to be honest.

It's still miles ahead of what used to be the norm, which was my point. In the 2000s this cup/bowl, in most restaurants, would have been 90 percent processed cheese, sauce, and bread/chips.

And since most people didn't pay attention back then they never realized that 'small' meal was almost 2k calories.
The whole fitness influencer industry is a fucking joke to be honest.
Sure, but it seemingly is having a net positive effect for the newer generations so I can't complain 🤷‍♂️
