I did the same, it's worth all the time as long as you stay the fuck away from Andromeda. That game makes it feel like you wasted your time on all the previous games story wise.

It's one of my dream games that I wish Western RPG Developers would make more of

Mass Effect in addition to it's WAIFUs had a great cast, great story, lot of interesting lore, a galaxy to explore, fun gameplay and other stuff. I'm surprised by how mismanaged this IP is nowadays. I'm being cautiously optimistic about that Exodus and Expanse game
