Not only is it a key card, but there is also no upgrade path from the Switch 1 (which is getting the full game on cart).I wonder if this is a key card on Switch 2.

It's DQ so it's already Day Zero for me. Wonder if I should just download the demo a few days before as "early access".
Guess I'll just buy the PC version but this would've been nice to get physical
There's an ingame reward for playing the demo
Yeah....a dress. Get excited.

As long as the keycard nonsense lasts, I'm getting this on consoles other than Switch2.I only wanted to buy it on the switch 2 ( I think these games are perfect for portable experience ). still, I am not gonna support the publisher that release games on a key card bullshit. Their loss and my gain. my money in my pocket lol.
I just hate how Nintendo has invented yet another obstacle to physical ownership that I have to evaluate when making a purchasing decision. Switch 2 is on key card and shit, PC is superior but is digital only and has no physical ownership. Does the game have a digital Switch 2 upgrade so I can at least own the game on a cartridge in a non-ideal state while still reaping the benefits of the better hardware? (In this case, no). Can I sacrifice fidelity in favor of ownership by just playing the Switch 1 card on the Switch 2, even though it costs the same?I only wanted to buy it on the switch 2 ( I think these games are perfect for portable experience ). still, I am not gonna support the publisher that release games on a key card bullshit. damn, I really wanted to buy this on Switch 2 too. Was thinking about getting a portable version on my trips to Japan, but I might just get the PS5 version and call it a day.![]()

Now it's a beautiful fucking slog! The art style looks amazing, but man this game was a fucking slog. Oh well I'll still give the demo a shot.
It really was. I'm hoping some of the changes they've made (like making a bunch of content optional) address that because the story (once you get to it) is actually pretty good. The art style looks amazing, but man this game was a fucking slog. Oh well I'll still give the demo a shot.
I'll even double dip if Limited Run puts it all on the card. Can't wait to play this on Switch 2.
Tomorrow dude.HELLO???????????
When is it out??????
fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffTomorrow dude.
How long was the DQ11 demo?If the demo is the same size as the DQ11 demo, it's gonna be long (and awesome).
Have Square ever put a game that is not game key card on Switch 2?I wonder if this is a key card on Switch 2.
Around 10 hours. Really beefy. How long was the DQ11 demo?
oh? Like slow and had to grind or just very long? The art style looks amazing, but man this game was a fucking slog. Oh well I'll still give the demo a shot.
