You asked "who would you rather have playing stark." And I answered the second pic but not because he is "attractive" but because being a well groomed person fits his personality of a self centered rich playboy character. If the first pic was well groomed ie the selfcentered son of a rich person who could pay for braces, pay for a hairstylist and good skincare then it wouldn't matter if it was the first "more ugly" person because I'm not after 'sexy' I'm after plausible characters. I'm not trying to fuck the character so why would his looks outside of realism to the character traits matter to me as a straight man? Seriously asking.
This was the entire story arc and plot of the film. I don't get it. Professor Klump was still a good character.

You seem to have missed the point. I asked why would I want an attractive Stark beyond plausibly written character traits? And what has this got to do with Professor Klump, another good character who isn't attractive? as part of the plot. I'm not sexually attracted to those characters so why would I care? Same with Mrs. Doubtfire or any other character. If their attractiveness was part of the plot somehow like say The Girl Next Door or something then sure. I'm not watching those films to see eye-pleasing people, especially males.

So you edited this in but again this just highlights my point. Thor in Marvel was a muscular he-man looking character, Thor in God of War was a fat guy with a drinking problem. At no point in the game was I thinking "you know I wish Thor was muscular and attractive like in Marvel". They were both cool characters and they fitted their personality traits well. I did not give a shit how "attractive" they looked. Why would I?

Outside of personality trait or plot no its not intrinsic. that was my entire fucking point. Take your example of Ellie, if anything she looks more like your typical lesbian teenage girl in the TV series but people are more upset that she doesn't match the game, not that a teenage lesbian girl isn't good looking/attractive. Imagine you had not seen game Ellie, why would you want TV series Ellie to be good looking?
Professor Klump's character is good and him being fat or unattractive is the entire point of the plot. How are you using that to show me being perfectly ok with Stark being portrayed as a well groomed ugly guy isn't a valid point? Like I said people like Elon Musk, Andrew tate, Zuckerberg aren't particularly good looking guys but they're normally cleanly groomed and they would still make a perfectly plausible Tony Stark.

I have such amazing memories of fable 1 and 2. 3 was just ok which was a shame but they tried something different.
I'm a fan of the franchise so I hope they pull it off.
FH6 is literally my dream game if they do it right.

Thus, bad casting. Her physique and acting don't match the setting
Just as Bella was a bad casting, Abby (the physical appearance of the game character) was criticized, it was not plausible in the game's world and the excuse given for the appearance of the actress in the show just made the initial criticism even more valid.
Klump and body love are the same actor, with different physical appearance, their physique matters.

Not sure what you're asking but I have a general sense of what the opposite sex finds attractive and what I find attractive. Does not necessarily mean that I want my characters to be attractive. For example I know that a lot of people are attracted to Ryan Gosling/Jessica Alba but doesn't mean I watch Jessica Alba/Ryan Gosling movies because it has them in it. I can watch movies with John C. Reilly, Whoopi Goldberg, Shelley Duvall or the example I gave with Robin Williams. As long as the character is plausible I really couldn't give a shit. I don't watch movies specifically to see eye-pleasing people.

So if I understand correctly, you don't watch movies to specifically see attractive people, but plausible characters. Right?
So, you are more concerned about the execution, craftsmanship of characters/ character development, story telling etc...
Now, hypothetically speaking; if Tony Stark is defined as a "very attractive and narcissistic play boy" for example. Then, you should care and want Tony stark to be attractive. Because that is what the story demands, that is what the character demands.

Maybe ten seconds. And we've definitely not seen more than 4 seconds of combat. We saw the main character awkwardly dodging around a werewolf, and that's it. And it could easily be a Perfect Dark situation where that was just a complete fabrication.

But what they showed apparently was never a real thing, as in actual gameplay. Sounds like they more or less pulled a Killzone 2 first footage/trailer on everyone. Let's see if Fable got downgraded.
