As someone else on here said, that's only because brainrotted people expect the next 'TURRRIPULLL AAYE" slop to be 'the one more thing' announcement. Sure am excited to play Intergalactic Space Lesbian or whatever that Naughty Dog game was called.

Most of you fuckers don't even care if it's CGI (see Divinity or Elder Scrolls or Star Wars announcements) but it just has to be bombastic and full of empty promises. Bonus points if it's years out from release. 🤭

I predict PC will start fine, MS and Sony will dick about getting the game uploaded to their stores. When console players arrive, servers will crash out and we will play tomorrow instead
 
Just noticed there are some serious talent behind the game, so hopefully it's slick mechanically. It has the visual appeal of a decomposing carcass, though.

Yeah, i'm desperate for a non cookie cutter FPS and look forward to hopping in given we know fuck all about the game so far.

If it's shit it's free so doesn't really matter.

I liked "it's over Blizzard, Geoff has the highguard" as well, but decided against it because I don't think this game is going to play anything like Overwatch, and I didn't want to imply otherwise.

As for what I did go with, both sections of the title have a small amount of wordplay. "Raid with me" instead of "ride with me," and "Apex of hero shooters" referring to both "the peak" and the developer's previous project. And if things go wrong with the game's support, "the Apex of hero shooters" could take on a negative meaning, so it works both ways.

The title also mentions mounts, raids, and Apex, which I think are three key things to know about the game, so I went with somewhat informative over strictly comical.
 
Hopefully the game is fun, not long before we know, gonna be really interesting to try it out later. Will give it some hours today.

Doesen't seem to be any new gpu-drivers for the game(atleast for now)., hopefully it runs well.

Everyone can play it, obviously. The experience is what's vastly different. I can assure you the people that hate these types of games will experience it much differently than competitive gamers will. It's literally just the "Stop having fun!" meme.

This game looks cool, I don't want to seem aloof and uninterested, I just don't know much about it. From what I've seen, I'd enjoy the game a lot.

I miss when people were excited and hoping a new game may be good. Now they'd rather it be bad because they love the drama, I guess.

I get the approach to marketing has been odd, for sure. Along with what was shown didn't move mountains. But, I hope what comes is a decent game. I have absolutely no expectations, but if it ended up being pretty good, that'd be cool. I'd rather have more good games than bad games. At least we'll find out soon.
