According to one of the informants:

We are getting more and more information that the boxed version will not be released at the same time as the digital version to prevent leaks. We receive conflicting reports: some say that the physical release will appear 3-4 weeks after the digital release, while others say that it will not happen before the beginning of 2027. More information will be available in mid-February.

When I worked at Gamestop back in the day we had someone break in the back door at night to steal one copy of Call of Duty (it was either MW2 or Black Ops or MW3, can't remember exactly). We had to do a whole corporate investigation and everything cause they didn't believe someone broke in to steal one copy of a game and thought we were just trying to cover up an employee stealing a copy (but we had the guy on camera, etc.)

I agree, it's like christmas the official hours/days before release, watching streams and shit. I love it since GTA IV.
