Thats probably why they didnt tell gamers till launch it's 3 vs 3. Gamers would had grilled it all month since first announced at the Game Awards.I'm more shocked that it is a 3 vs 3. For a game that involves flying, horse riding, you expect that the maps would be huge and epic.
Crazy take.I legitimately think if the game went from 3v3 to 12v12 and you changed basically nothing else it'd instantly become a much better game.
Crazy take.
The game is clearly designed around tight teamplay and strategy. They want you to be able to map out where all 5 other players are in a team fight. A 12 v 12 mode would just be goofy chaos imo. It's also not like the game lacks for action. You're constantly fighting in this.
Yup.You know whats funny? The marketing people are the only ones that did their job. Their job was to make the game visible and make people enough interested to download it. From there the Game/Art Directors took the helm and they failed utterly. The ideea of the game in principle is interesting, but the execution god no…50% of the time your are traveling through the map without any type of action.
So, kudos to the MK people…
Basically my negatives on the game. More POIs around the maps with different stuff to get/do, better performance and more players per game. Do that and it would actually be pretty good. 3 players ain't a raid.A lot of common issues.... empty maps that are too big, performance issues, 3 vs 3 is too few gamers
That sounds awful. How about the game just be about shooting things?I should have three people on my team dedicated to mining and occasionally fighting the other team's miners for resources
'Having a blast' is the standard brainless shill phraseSo when are various developers from other studios coming out and spamming their Twitter they are having the best of time with this?
Geoff Keighley threw away his reputation for this.
What a doofus.
PvP shooter where you have only three enemies to shoot at, and you spend most of the time riding your little horsie anyways because the maps are overly massive.
Who could have seen this coming.
Good Lord. I hope the dev's have their resumes polished up.Already almost under 8k, that didn't take long.![]()
????????Nintendo fanboys will say that the game is resounding success by the launch numbers
If you changed the game to 6 v 6, and you made the walls take twice as much damage, and you adjusted the respawn timers and spawns a bit, why wouldn't this still work? Do you really feel that there are no adjustments they could make to the standard game that would allow for a much more casual friendly 6 v 6 mode?Crazy take.

That's alot higher that I would have expected, frankly... But the reception is beyond awful. Far worse than I would have guessed.
I wonder if it's entirely deserved or if people are giving the game shit because there's a prejudicial dislike against it.
Polygon: Highguard has experienced a nearly 40% increase in players overnightIt rose from 8k to 11?
It will rise throughout the day, right now the west is sleeping or at work. Peak numbers is about 6 to 9 hours from now.It rose from 8k to 11?
East Coast woke up.It rose from 8k to 11?
There was an 18GB patch so the player base dropped. You can consider 11K as the real low.It rose from 8k to 11?
You didn't even need to say this in your post for the rest of us to know it's a shi.....I mean crazy take.Crazy take.
No chance.I think it will go up to around 50k again. Many people havent tried it out yet even though the word of mouth is very bad, people will still check it out. But its gonna be a steady decline from now on. I think it will bottom out around 10-15k with spikes on the weekend for the near future.
