I'm conflicted if I want a pc handheld, a laptop or a desktop. I do want something to play good indies for cheap prices anywhere so a handheld would be nice. I don't know if the steam deck is now powerful enough for me.
What kind of indies, the 2D kind of stuff will run on any potato and the deck should be good enough for you.
Already three steps ahead of you mate.Don't go anywhere near Reddit
Have you tried moving?Question for any home owners on GAF (all the genz and most millenials can step out).
Has anyone here does insulation foam injections in any of your home's dry walls? Feels like some of my walls are not really that good at insulating the cold anymore (house is from the 70's) and rather than breaking down the entire fucking dry wall and add new insulation, I'm looking up how some places can do foam injections without breaking the dry wall. Supposedly cheaper as well.
Anyone have any experience with this?
I've felt the difference that makes, but we're talking England in solid (and awkward) old concrete houses you need diamond drills for so I have no idea how it would be in yours. Can't be that bad though, can it?Question for any home owners on GAF (all the genz and most millenials can step out).

You could get someone out for a quote then do research of the back of their input
That stuff has quite a market now, so I would try to find some businesses that can help with valuing. They should be able to give you advice, and you can always get multiple opinions before you make a decision.Hey guys. I didn't know where else to ask this question so I'll ask it here. I recently discovered that my pokemon card collection is worth quite a bit. I would like to sell the collection but I have absolutely no experience selling pokemon cards. If i wanted to sell the entire collection, what would be the best way to go about it? I was thinking eBay but the collection is worth a good amount like I said and I'm not sure how fast it would sell on there because of the price, and that's selling at a small loss as well. The collection according to multiple sources online comes up to being a little over 30k in value. I just have no idea how to move cards worth this much. Like I know people spend crazy amounts on cards but it's kinda hard for me to believe lol. Thanks for any help in advance!
If you are a hypochondriac a health monitor is going to drive you crazy.I've been contemplating getting a better/more feature rich smartwatch but I'm afraid that it will end up setting off my hypochondria about my heart rate again. I've always had a higher-end-of-normal resting heart rate, but since my entire family has dealt with heart issues in the past (all due to smoking, a cycle I've broken), I fall into a cardiophobia anxiety loop easily. I got rid of my old Apple Watch back in 2021 because it made me obsess over my heart rate but I really do miss all the other features it had.
Get any further on this? That's the plan, after the roads clear from the current snow storm (and another one expected this weekend) clears up a bit.
Get any further on this?
My home and home office (adjacent) have spray foam in every wall and all cavity spaces. When I say it makes all the difference I am telling you no lies. Just make sure you have good flow on your soffits or you will tap a ton of hot air in void spaces that have no way to move it.
Being single in your 40's is not something I'd recommend. I'm single for the first time in basically 18 years, and the worlds changed since then. My last relationship ended last June, so I figured it was time to start putting myself out there. wtf. These apps are fucking disgusting with how much they want to charge for basic features like seeing who likes you.
Yeah, I've had a handful of "conversations". I don't know if it's the competitive aspect or what, but we exchange messages a couple of times, and then that's it. I guess I'm supposed to do all the lifting? That's not how real conversations work, but it seems to be that way with dating apps.yeah i'm coming up to about a year on dating apps. it's an absolute waste of time. only matched with and spoke to two people so far...and it went nowhere. i've had quite a few more notifications that i had a match but when i go into the app it doesn't show up. not sure what that's about.
a tinder subscription was one of the included subscriptions with my bank account but i've changed banks now so it will expire soon. if it's anything like the other dating apps i've tried on a free plan then it'll be fucking awful and even more useless.
I remember doing this around 2010-2016 A few of the light weight dating sites that existed from 2010 to 2014 were the best because the bots weren't everywhere. I even stayed in contact with 2 of the females I met on there, in a platonic kinda way. One is married while the other is living for her grandkids. I met them around that 2010-2011 range. My spouse messaged me because of a comment I made about my profession. I just said I was salary and that I knew another language. I don't think that's going to happen to most men. The paywall got larger once smartphones became a necessity. You're right about it being more for the top shelf kinda guy. The real females on that site either want you to financially support them right away or they've got way too many issues. My mother and my sister both met their spouses through unconventional methods, but this was before 2010. Back then it was eHarmony and the personal ads in the newspaper. It's always hard before you meet the right person.Dating apps are for top 5-10% males in terms of specs (6'5 blue eyes finance meme). If you're outside of that range you'll have much better luck working on meeting people irl. On dating apps a 6/10 girl will get literally hundreds of messages from 9/10 guys.
I deleted my account for reasons I don't remember. It was most likely frustration. I used Plenty of Fish to find my mouse. I have no idea how they turned out.I deleted my account yesterday after a scam attempt. I didn't fall for it. Alarm bells and red flags were there immediately but I'm not doing this bullshit anymore. The few real women on there don't talk more than a few sentences anyway
