SeverLink is a third-person stealth-action game. Designed as a love letter to classic infiltration titles, it offers diverse levels, dynamic AI, player freedom, and thematic depth. Set in 201X, after a world-altering Y2K bug stalled technological progress, the game embraces a retro-futuristic aesthetic shaped by early-2000s hardware and culture.

  • Classic, deliberate stealth with visibility & noise detection ("stealth in the shadows" without the "I can't see a damn thing" problem).
  • Smart enemies that react to your actions—like noticing an open door—and different enemy types respond in their own ways.
  • Multi-path levels with hidden routes, verticality, and flexible solutions.
  • Interactive world: use the environment to your advantage - distract with props, hack into PCs, uncover secrets.
  • Non-lethal and lethal toolkit: stun gun, firearms, melee, throwables (including rubber pigs)
  • Slow, methodical infiltration or fast, chaotic escapes—player sets the pace
I really dont mind the graphics as long as the game will be really immersive

Animations are terrible. Splinter Cell came out more than 20 years ago and it looks better when moving the character during gameplay

Don't be like that, hundreds of people worked on Splinter Cell and its budget is probably 500000 times this game's budget.

So I guess you are the kind of person that has resulted in modern games being bloated and focused on superflous graphics and animations and sacrificing gameplay at all costs. Such a wild thing to say about an indie game.

Listen man, I dont make the rules. If you want to make a good immersive stealth game there are some standards when it comes to animations. I gave an example of a very old game but I can give you a couple more, Styx for example looks much better animation wise, or even Aragami, and those are indie low budget games.

This one just looks clunky and the animations look very robotic and unappealing

Its my opinion

chunky characters but other than that looks promising for fans of the genre
My takeaway too. I kind of want them to go for a more abstract stylized look so they don't have to be compared to a photorealistic Splinter Cell or MGS. As long as the stealth mechanics are really good, I don't care what it looks like.
