I don't think I noticed any real difference in difficulty. If you're doing fine now, you'll do fine if you go up.

You get a guarantee 3 boss material drop from over world bosses and supposedly higher chance of rarer drops from mobs.

When in doubt, you can always lower the world level back down.

Only thing I would suggest is maybe clear out the superbosses in Fontaine, Natlan, and Nod-Krai and their achievements before raising it.

NA 4 times to fill meter, then press Skill for big damage. Repeat. Use Burst whenever you like.

Simple to use, no fuss. Decently strong, moreso with Illuga cons and possibly Linnea whenever she releases.

Finally got around to doing the Ascension Quest to max out my World Level, and then I decided to throw whatever pulls I had left at the Bina banner and this happened on the 3rd 10‑pull (pretty loud volume). Now I've got her at C1R1.

Well, finished up the Imaginarium. I was pretty pissed off, I got one of the "survive until the end" arcana stages and had absolutely zero characters left at that point with sustain of any kind. I would have had a "perfect" run otherwise.

Quick question - how do you borrow your friends' units for Imaginarium? I spent like 10 minutes looking through each menu in the book and I couldn't find any way to borrow any characters.

Zizhi keeps calling Traveller "a mere mortal" but uhhh… the whole being here for 500 years since arriving, traveling the stars before that, kicking gods asses, purifying abyss energy, holding a moon marrow like nothing at all, I'm like…

Also, yet again I just really like Xiao. He's so cool. I wish he was the Traveller lol. Hopefully he gets some good buffs to make picking him up worthwhile.

I was saving leveling stuff for Zibai in case I get her but when I had enough to put Bina to 90 I couldn't resist and spent 80% of it. Also got her weapon to 80%. She is so strong and buffs everything it's totally worth it. Also it is starting to get to the point where what artifact sets I choose will be for the particular combinations of teammates. Whether Ineffa is with Flins or not, whether Lauma is with Nefer or not and if someone is holding Silken, etc. The benefits of different sets complementing or overlapping and the different stats that each character scales off of is making it interesting. Team options are expanding quite a lot but set selection for optimizing each team depends on who I have arranged into party with whom.

Edit: LOL this lunar/electro/hydro challenge. Ineffa/Bina/Furina/Flins.

I appreciate that all the mini‑games in this edition of the Lantern Rite are fun. Cleared all the available rounds so far, now I'm just waiting for the last one to unlock.

Oh, and I had to push my Columbina to C2 since I snagged that C1 a few days ago with those lucky pulls. All in all I'm very grateful to RNGesus for letting me win four 50/50s this patch, including an early Bina copy.

Was able to win the 50/50 on Zibai, so that feels worth it. I'm at exactly 0 pity and I think I'll hold off on pulling until Gretel makes it into the game in 6.5.

Had 40 pulls and secured Zibai on first 10 pull. Brilliant! Got C2 Illuga with the rest, which is good. Don't really see a reason to C6 Illuga, which is his next big step up. Even if tuned for pairing with Zibai, he's still a sub-DPS 4 star which are pretty much always outclassed by good 5 stars, which I have. They'll probably also give her another 5 star partner later besides the nice Columbina pairing now. I can save the pulls from now forward and probably have enough to get Nicole for free later. As for weapon, I have two Uraku Misugiri all leveled up so I don't have much a need for Zibai's weapon which is only like 9% better and for that I would have to spend a bunch of resources to get it fully leveled anyway. I can nab it on a rerun if I really want but with Nicole and Sandrone on the way we have higher callings. Neuvillette looks way cooler in his new suit but I'm not getting another hydro after building Mualani, Furina, Columbina, Yelan, and Mona. No fuckin way.

Due to prefarm I got her to lvl64 with talents at 6, three good artifacts but no sands or goblet at all, so missing tons of stat power. Even so, she still seems strong. I think she will be fine at C0 just like Nefer. I'm actually having trouble testing her out bc after Columbina and Chiori pop off it's like everything dies before I can get to it lol.

Switching back and forth between her and Ningguang, the latter has a larger ratio to her head? It's like they modeled Zibai more like a Wuwa character, which is also how Nefer, Flins, and Mavuika are. It is interesting how there is this stylistic variance between characters since Lauma is voluptuous but in more the typical Genshin style like Chasca and Xilonen are, then Jahoda is fully old school Genshin.

Forgot Zibai was dropping today. I liked her gameplay in the trial, and wanted a use for my Chiori, so I rolled.

Lost 50/50 to Qiqi, got Zibai in 40 pulls after the loss. Managed to C6 my Aino and C2 Illuga, so it's not all bad I guess.

I'm trying to figure out who to finish her team with. I'm looking at Zibai/Chiori/Aino/??? so far. Ah well, she's a future project anyways, I don't exactly have a burning need for Lunar Crystallize at the moment.

You guys making the crafted Natlan sword for her? I see some sites saying that 3* Crit Damage weapon is better than the 4* crafted DEF sword, but I don't know if I buy that...

Xilonen is a solid pick. Zhongli works too. Candace could even work, but you'd have to find a healer/shielder elsewhere.

The 3-star Harbinger of Dawn is calced to be 8% stronger than the craftable weapon, but it mostly comes down to comfort and preference. HoD has insane Crit value, and since Zibai doesn't care about ATK, it all lines up perfectly for her. There's the HP requirement though, which can be difficult depending on the team.

Flute of Ezpitzal gives tons of DEF, but Zibai has a lot of that already between her artifacts and talents, so there's some diminishing returns there. Still, it is good and will increase her survivability too.

I actually crafted another Flute for her, but decided to go with HoD at the last moment. She's sitting at a solid 98% CR and 280% CDMG now, and she hasn't been fully ascended yet. That value seems tough to beat.

The interesting thing about Lunar-Crystalize is that it is actually consolidating the total damage of all participants in the reaction. So it is like a conduit of your team rather than solely driven by the Geo DPS. However this makes it a bit weird figuring out the best team comp between def shred, team boosts, skill boost, reaction boost, crit boosts. It seems you have a range of options of different ways to build and empower and what is best will relate to the particular vulnerabilities of the enemy.

Man, Zibai and Lunar Crystallize in and of itself is really strong. With a shitty team of Geo Traveler/Bina/Ineffa/Zibai, I can single cycle the dorito world boss in Sumeru. And Zibai is only level 50, level 1 talents across the board, level 1 artifacts, and a level 1 sword. Feels so much better to play than Flins in his Lunar Charged team, too. I won't be using this team for anything, but I was pissing around while doing dailies for the friendship xp and thought I'd try it out.

Zibai is a better account pickup than expected.

I had been keeping tabs on the game, but Fontaine and Natlan regions, along with their character releases didn't temp me to jump back in, but the Nod Krai content and characters are a lot more compelling.

Would it be worth it to start playing again and just knock out all the archon quests to get caught back up? Not sure how much content that would include, plus my roster would be pretty far out of date when it comes to the meta.

I'm pretty sure you can just skip almost everything now, and jump straight into Nod-Krai. You'd have to look up some summaries online though if you want to have a clue about what's going on in the story. Of course you could complete the Archon quests too, but if those regions and characters didn't interest you much I'm not sure you'd want to stick around for all that time. Those quests have gotten pretty lengthy.

In terms of meta you're in luck, because the current banner is really F2P friendly, offering a complete team of 4-stars and a strong 5-star DPS. That's as good a place as any to start off with. I'd say give it a shot.

Zibai is getting there now. Pretty powerful already. When her bigger hits land it is like 80k each? And they are multi-hits. That seems crazy for where my levels are at. And that is with Ineffa/Bina/Chiori, so, suboptimal. The towers are an interesting approach to AoE. It makes her feel like Clorinde but with Chiori's dolls. Very different feel from Flins or Nefer but definitely up there with them and less work to get the synergy happening. It would have been nice for artifacts to roll more EM.

I haven't done this patch's AQ yet, but I'm glad you enjoyed it, my man. How long did it take you? I might go through it this weekend too, since I'm caught up on the MSQ in all the other gachas I'm playing except ZZZ, since that patch only dropped two days ago.

Around 7, maybe 8 hours. I've seen people call this the MGS4 arc, where there's very little gameplay compared to the amount of cutscenes and yeah I'd agree. What gameplay IS there is not only fun but as far as the story goes it just *makes sense*. Great overarching lore moments too, I especially liked that too.

Dottore is one hell of a villain. As much as people can rightfully complain that Hoyo doesn't make truly BAD guys.....this guy lol.

One thing I super appreciate with how the story has been told so far is Sandrone's ties to Fontaine. I had totally forgot about that until a patch or two ago. I know Hoyo tends to stop focusing on characters or just focus on their lore for the patch they're introduced but this patch reinforced Fontaine's ancient civilization is super important to things going on and will still be down the road. While the world is huge in Genshin were never too far removed from certain underlying stories that connect throughout the regions.

That was driving me nuts. I clicked it when I first got her but accidentally cleared it without checking what it was. Couldn't find what it was when I searched.

But yeah. Putting game functions behind a paywall isn't good. Although it started mostly with Natlan mobility abilities since you can use them outside of Natlan (not counting Fontaine since those gold/purple energy character traits didn't really matter)

Now I kind of want her for my 2nd account so I don't have to keep running to the daily by the Nod-Krai fishing lady every day.

I'm really liking Zibai. Super comfy with her high defense stat, flexible because there's no team restrictions and strong enough to make a noticeable impact on any fight. Between her and my glass canon Nefer team, I think I'm set for any Lunar stuff in the game. I hope they focus on other gimmicks going forward.

Bro, same. I was iffy on her the whole way up to her banner, but she's been so satisfying to use. My only complaint is how small her attack range is, specifically for the horse. If it had more range, she'd be nearly perfect.

Even as she is, I prefer her team a lot to my Nefer team, who is way more invested in. Also like her way more than Flins team. I only wish we had 2x Columbinas in our accounts.

So after getting Bina's C2 a week and a bit ago, I started slowly building pity with the primos I've been getting from events and such. Then this happened after I had enough for a 10 pull! Early Zibai, and also my fifth 50/50 win in a row.

I'll say that the start of 2026 has been very generous across all the gachas I play, and I play quite a few. I'm wondering if this good fortune will continue tomorrow when HSR's 4.0 drops.
