Weird that this is the second time they're broadcasting a Silent Hill Tranmission right after a State of Play (May 30, 2024), but the last time that happened it did not result on some kind of cross-promotion, so I wouldn't expect anything like that here.
I remembered wrong, we did get another Silent Hill 2 trailer on that SoP (including the release date for it) followed up by a deep dive at the SHT, lol.

I played it about six months after it released. I personally thought it was pretty mid, a lot of the game felt like "I'm 14 and this is deep" to me. It was eerie and a bit unsettling but (again, in my opinion) no more so than something like Inscryption which I found infinitely more enjoyable.

I'm actually pretty surprised there's no Born from a Wish DLC so far.

f was sick, loved it, somehow turned out great despite the dev behind it famous for nothing but garbage prior. I dont even know who is making Townfall but I'll stay optimistic. Also they have to show something of Bloobers SH1 or there will be riots

It sure sounds like a normal day in Silent Hill.
The combat and the pseudo-RPG mechaincs in f were horrendous. Whoever at NeoBards decided those were good ideas, deserves to play a game of Sudoku.

There was a newer interview with Bloober that essentially said Konami ain't funding that patch anymore and until they do, no dice. Or that's how I read it. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but it basically went back and forth and it's a no now.

Im speaking about PS5 Pro patch. It had so much issues, they dropped patch to remove it alltogether, then sometime in interview they said they are working on it, but looks like thats not happening again

They didn't drop the patch, the game still uses PSSR in the Quality mode, they just dropped it in Performance mode.

Adam, there were a couple of posts from the devs themselves a couple of months ago explicitly saying that a Pro patch was - basically - in the publisher's hands.

The game still remains broken on the Pro to this day, not a good look for a game with a 90% Metacritic...

That's fine, an update is something different.

But I have to point it out whenever someone implies the game never got a Pro patch, It most certainly did. It just wasn't a good one.
