This is the reality of gaming right now. It doesn't help that were are flooded with good games right now and investment is drying up. We are going to see more and more studio closures. I just saw another studio that closed today as well. This is only going to get worse.

There's no conceivable universe where Fairgame$ turns out to be a success. None. It had a rather tepid response to its reveal, and I just don't think they'll be able to convince anyone to give it a go.

I'm surprised they've lasted this long tbh, I was expecting them to be next. I adored Days Gone and it had a crazy sequel hook at the end but I also wouldn't be too interested in a sequel without John Garvin and Jeff Ross who both left after Days Gone. It was a pure passion project for them, especially Garvin, who then proceeded to slowly lose his mind on Twitter. I don't want to downplay the rest of the studio but I'd rather see them do something new instead of Days Gone 2.
