This, plus it's around 40€ in key shops, not sure on console but 70-80€ i guess?Yes. RE9 will have Denuvo not their DRM.

Yes because the alternative is playing it on consoles like a peasant. After how Capcom patched RE4 with insane DRM significantly lowering performance by almost 50%, and treating paying customers as pirates, why would anyone reward them for how they treat pc gamers?
I was actually pretty excited for the game but Im def skipping it
Of course. Their RE games have always launched and performed buttery smooth on my PC, I'm sure this one will be no different.
RE8 was total crap with DRM they used. Pirates had much better version:

It was still buttery smooth for me and I had no problem on launch. Played to completion and all. If I stared at FPS numbers, maybe it fluctuated, but it was never under 60, so I was more than fine, personally.
It will still be the best version, even with shitty DRM.
Yes. RE9 will have Denuvo not their DRM. In 5 years when their license expires and they put their own garbage, I can just use a previous exe version or pirated one. PC version regardless of drm is still the better version.
Or you know.. you can also not play it at allYes because the alternative is playing it on consoles like a peasant.

We can attach hardware specs to reviews on Steam now so hopefully that'll cut down on players with underspec PCs lying in their reviewsPCMR are going to buy it and drop a negative review on steam.
RE8 ran perfectly smooth 99.99% of the time at launch in my experience.RE8 was total crap with DRM they used. Pirates had much better version:
I think I remember about that, if anything I was impacted by that, but literally everything else was more than fine to complete. I'm pretty sure I also remember it affecting certain PC specs more than others. Wasn't a big deal, but to each their own. Especially since I remember the game being buttery smooth more than not.At launch? Not possible.
I played it on Steam at launch on 3070 and saw this dogshit performance when Vampires appeared. It was fixed much later by Capcom.
Good luck fighting the multi billion dollar corporation from your high ground. I'm sure youll win.Or you know.. you can also not play it at all
So yeah I guess we're still rewarding Capcom for treating pc players like shit. Lmao
There is absolutely no chance I am not playing it. Yea the drm thing is absolutely shit. But resident evil is my favourite series.Or you know.. you can also not play it at all

What I'm not buying is your hyperbole, sir. Have a good day.

Hyperbole???
Are you joking dude?
This is the kind of dumb shit that was said by Xbox One DRM defenders, until Xbox reversed it cause of the outcry and dwindling pre-orders.
Keep licking that boot dude

Yup. Denuvo + 40€. They will probably patch this with Enigma bullshit in a few years but by then I will be done. This, plus it's around 40€ in key shops, not sure on console but 70-80€ i guess?

I played through re4 at realease and i dont remember any bad performance. But other than that re9 looks kinda boring to me so i will not be getting it at first. Maybe if the reviews are really good. After how Capcom patched RE4 with insane DRM significantly lowering performance by almost 50%, and treating paying customers as pirates, why would anyone reward them for how they treat pc gamers?

Lol as a PC gamer for years I disagree with your assessment. No one is licking anyone's boot, you're just dumb. Hilarious how you choose to ignore a simple fact: all PC gamers can download https://www.nexusmods.com/residentevil42023/mods/5667 and wont have any issues with the curent DRM. RE9 wont have the RE4R drm. Get off your high horse. There are 0 negatives playing on PC.
Sony fanboys are going to buy it and not be able to leave a text review. LOLPCMR are going to buy it and drop a negative review on steam.
The new drm impacts performance a lot. It was patched in later.I played through re4 at realease and i dont remember any bad performance.

I finished the game on pc when it came out as well
Lol as a PC gamer for years I disagree with your assessment.
Just because users CAN download that mod, does that mean they should? So Capcom so be rewarded?
Re9 wont have Enigma? What is your source on this? Who's to say they wont implement it when Denuvo contract runs out?
What high horse dude? You're the one telling me to 'get over it' so it seems you're the one on a high horse.
