Now try that take on the other forum lolREmake 5 lets fucking go!
"bu... but the game could be considered razizts" fuck that, viruses and diseases have no race restrictions...
Extraction shooter.I'm just glad they haven't said "go open world" yet.
Move on to remakes of the remakes.
RE2 already showing age... But before we have CV,1,0.....5???? 6??????Move on to remakes of the remakes.

For most part RE always been action horror series….its not pure horror like Silent Hill, Siren or Fatal Frame games.is RE an action series or a horror series?
Cooking with LeonI'm pretty sure they saw how massively popular Leon is and will most likely go with him only as the protag going forward. They'd be dumb not to. They even had that wall of popularity for RE chars, and Leon was pretty much destroying everyone else. Code Veronica/RE1 remake will not do any big numbers compared to a Leon game. Honestly I'd scrap those two in favor of having a faster launch of a RE10 game with Leon in third person only.
Please don't burn me alive. But I would buy:Move on to remakes of the remakes.
Yeah that is not a thing, no one shoots a cash cow. When they say they would discuss the future of the series i means the same thing that happened after RE6 when they decided to take the series to its horror roots and remake RE2, since right now there are four active teams behind RE they will pitch in ideas on where to take the series in the next 10 years, it is often a positive thing.i don't know it really means but they'd be stupid as shit to stop RE games.
I would too, but only if it was fairly priced, since the base games are already made. Please don't burn me alive. But I would buy:
RE2 Remake extended edition. Added zapping. More fleshed out A/B scenarios. Updated engine with full path tracking for better looking shadows.
RE3 Remake Extended edition: longer campaign, clock tower, added city hub sections where Tyrant behaves like Mr X. Upgraded RE engine Path tracking.
While I am in my fantasy add native PCVR
Thinking of replaying the OGs. Is emulating the GC version the move?Take the Gamecube versions of 2 & 3 and the PlayStation version of 1 and give them to someone to re-release as a collection with custom controls and lots of different filter options etc like those recent console archive releases.
Get the PC versions from GOG and use the Classic Rebirth patches on the Japanese downloads. IIRC that's how you should do it now that the games are buyable on PC again.Thinking of replaying the OGs. Is emulating the GC version the move?
To be fair, as great as the current Remake of Resident Evil 1 still is, there is a ton of potential of a new remake using the latest RE engine. You joke but aren't they remaking RE1 again?
I've already given up on DD2 dlc at this point. I wished for that to happen, but crapcom only cares for money, nothing else. How about no RE for a while and Mega Man Legends 3 and Dragon's Dogma 2 DLC instead?
It's really personal preference and opinions. But imo the overall best versions of og 2 & 3 is the gamecube ones. I think they are most polished, skippable cutscenes, and usually the bonus modes (extreme battle etc). Also those ports feature in game brightness tuning and more tuning to allow control with the analog sticks (still tank controls). I also really liked the n64 version for the modern style control scheme amongst some other things.Thinking of replaying the OGs. Is emulating the GC version the move?
I get you personally dont like their games but if that was the case why would they make game like Pragmata? which is not gonna sale crazy high compare to their established IP.but crapcom only cares for money, nothing else.

Action horror, not an difficult thing to grasp. It has been leaning into that since RE2, the original one.The paramount question: is RE an action series or a horror series?
At this point I lean more toward the former.
