In this exclusive gameplay, Logan is tracking a group of mutants who have been hunted and captured by the Reavers, a heavily armed cybernetic mercenary militia. The Reavers plan to deliver the mutants to their client Bolivar Trask, a billionaire industrialist obsessed with human superiority.



Key features:

• Fast, fluid and extremely brutal claw-based combat
• Multiple approaches: stealth, stalking, ambushes from above or direct aggressive assaults
• Special combat techniques (Tornado Spin, Bull Rush)
• Team-up moments with Jean Grey: her telekinetic powers help in fights and create opportunities for Critical Strikes (devastating finishing moves)

I fear the story will bring it down, and Jean Grey looked annoying, Spider-Man 2 severely took a hit because of a shitty version of Mary Jane and a cornball Miles Morales.

I just don't trust Insomniac with anything to do with story. But the game will likely play extremely well.

These games are all starting to feel the same. Drop a bunch of enemies standing around in an arena, use some half baked stealth mechanic to take out a bunch, then chop up the rest easily by button mashing. Then cutscenes and repeat. I'll probably wait for a sale for this one.

You can literally see so many recycled animations from the Spidey games.

Visuals look good. Animations look pretty good.

I really don't like that camera, though. I get eye strain from games that are constantly zooming/panning to show glory kills. And this game appears to be 100% glory kills.

The close up game play looked good.
The brutality and damage/healing factor looks like a worth successor to X-Men Origins Wolverine that i played on the 360. Some of the dismemberment did not look great as it was just covered by blood running all over the place

My only complaints is that some of the set pieces and on rails gameplay look so janky- ie: Logan's jump from Motorcyle to the truck bed looks worse in the ingame cinematic.

Also- so happy my boy Spartacus II got a role here. Hopefully he's more "growly" in the rest of the game and doesnt sound like some random aussie in the sun lol
