Forza Horizon 6 full map reveal

What would be the distance from downtown to the mountains up north?
15 miles?

Best horizon map was horizon 3, horizon 4 and 5 where a step back and not as fun (5 being the worst). Looking forward to this one

Which squiggly line on our 2d map are you most excited to cruise? 😆

Just be better than 5, that's all I'm asking!

Looks like a much denser environment and more interesting roads. Most of the roads in 5 were much too open and felt aimless as a result

Nice! I'm really looking forward to this

I just hope it doesn't take four minutes to load a multiplayer race that only lasts three. I had so much fun racing online against randoms, but the wait times eventually killed the momentum

I'd probably still be playing Forza Horizon 5 regularly if it weren't for that.

Came here after long absence only to comment on you. Yes you are right about 3. It was the best Forza Horizon and best map.
My ranking is this:

1. FH3
2. FH1
3. FH5
4. FH4
5. FH2

Unfortunately FH6 looks like it will be somewhere around FH4... Hope I'm wrong.

jsut to confirm, they did say this one actually has you starting out as a nobody/low teir car and moving up, right? I could not stand how all previous Horizon games basically made you already an expert racer from go and just threw cars at you like candy. I'm super excited about this one sense I remember them saying they made this a priority, but a lot could have changed, so want a reconfirmation.

It's going to be so jarring not having actual metropolitan expressways after having driven them endlessly in other games.

I know Horizon generally doesn't have real routes but it would have been incredible to at least have the C1 loop in this game.

Still really hyped for the game.

City looking small af.

Horrible voice acting - check
No traffic - check
Stock cars and not Japanese tuned - check
No soul - no sauce - check

Corporate trash

How does this franchise go from great to bad in such a rapid decline?

Just the most vapid, un car culture ass games there are. Like a tourist on car culture.

This looks exactly like 5 with huge open roads that arent japanese looking at all, they didnt even bother changing the HUD

Fuck I hope so, I might be the only person who actually really liked that. Gave the map more utility and variety.
Yeah it made the map feel more varied. I want to know more about this, would be cool it they went with real calendar seasons, at least as a choice.

Hopefully Forza learns from The Crew Motorfest and makes the map expansions part of the actual main map. After buying gold Editions of Horizon 3 and 4, I only bought the base game for 5, I have no interest in playing on small dlc maps with nothing to do after the first 5 hours...

How in the world can y'all tell how "small" a map is when we have no clue of the scale of anything?

I suppose you can guess form the building sizes?

The impressions from some of the people who played it is that the world map and Tokyo don't feel small. With that said I still think I'll be disappointed with the traffic levels in Tokyo and no super narrow streets.

What surprises me more is that there's not a lot of empty space without roads, you know, like the desert areas from FH5 or large fields from FH4. This can be a pro or a con depending on your taste, for me it's probably a positive.

From hokihoshi's video and his calculation:

Summer season? Are they doing season changes like in FH4?
yeah they said they are doing season changes. i remember them saying in a video that winter in particular is a bit toned down on asphalt especially since there's the always snowy region in the north.

Q: Will Dynamic Seasons be available in Forza Horizon 6, and how do they differ to the seasons in Forza Horizon 4 and Forza Horizon 5?
For Japan, the team had the opportunity to move back to more dramatic seasonal variation than seen in Mexico.

Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter are all authentically represented and distinctly different – from the changing visuals of landscapes, crops, foliage and weather to the unique and subtle soundscapes, ensuring every season carries its own feel, beauty, and personality.

Additionally, one of the ways Forza Horizon 6's seasons are uniquely different from the previous games, is that regardless of whether it's Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter, you can throw on some snow-tires and enjoy snow year-round in our mountainous Alpine region!

The Horizon maps always felt too small and too cramped, always driving the same roads again and again, event icons one on top of the other etc. It's too early to pass any judgment, but from the looks of things they seem to be following the same pattern here with a small-ish map that is too cramped/busy. Even if it's larger than 5, it's probably not by much. I would have liked to see an actually large map meant for driving instead of the theme park approach they always take.

The hot wheels expansion is very fun. But I get you, I just bought the premium version last month at half the price and was kinda pissed that the most expensive edition doesn't give you all cars, you need to spend the same amount again to get all the car packs, Premium + Car Packs for almost (95%+) all cars.

My favorite part of the Horizon games is rally, so i hope the rally tracks feel less disjointed than in 5. I might be misremembering the older games, but the amount of time i spent on pavement during rally races in 5 felt egregious.
