I was just testing the multi-quote. No need to be rude

Rams have placed 9 CBs on IR. Every CB they dress this week wasn't with the team week 1. Big Ben might break Van Brocklin's passing record in a few weeks

Eagles Having Postmodernist Short-Storybook Season

PHILADELPHIA—With a complete lack of ordered structure, a highly compromised cast of characters lacking a true protagonist, and no coherent resolution in sight, the Eagles—who began the season widely heralded as the best team in football—are enduring a postmodernist short-storybook season.

"Taken as one body of work, the disjointed and almost halting series of vignettes that is the ordeal of the Eagles' weekly games—the empty victories, the shattering losses, and the sense that nothing good or pure can survive it all—is, in the best and bleakest traditions of postwar literature, compelling almost in spite of its inherent despair," said critic Michiko Kakutani, writing about the Eagles' "gorgeously incoherent chronicle of desperation and futility" in a review for The New York Times.

"That they still have an outside chance of winning the NFC East adds just the right touch of meaningless, ultimately destructive hope to the whole narrative. Recommended." Kakutani also took time to deride the as-yet undefeated Green Bay Packers' season as "a barely credible litany of unattainable flawlessness showcasing the worst aspects of the American male-power fantasy.

Even while playing squicken's team!

Nice.

Resizing the image worked well, I like it a lot.

Rams will get destroyed by Tarvaris Jackson of all people this weekend, ya I said it.

I was really feeling bad about the Bears chances earlier this year but things are looking better now. I can't wait to see how the next 4 games go against the AFC West. Tebow vs the Bears D should be interesting, and I have a feeling Rivers is gonna be hating life tomorrow.

Also I finally re-uploaded my mopey Cutler avatar.

Yeah the next five games (including Seattle) are gonna be interesting. They shouldn't have any problems with San Diego even though D J Moore is out (no Floyd & Jackson playing on one good knee) but Oakland and Denver scare me. Oakland because it's Oakland and the Bears never have success there and Denver, not because of Tebow but because of how Cutler will react to coming back to Denver for the first time since he was traded.

Anyway, I would love to see the Bears go 5-0 the next five games and have the Packers lose 2, which could happen against the Lions and Giants, and have that at Green Bay game mean more than just a rivalry game.

Following his Friday news conference, Bucs coach Raheem Morris scoffed at an NFL.com column by Mike Lombardi that said the team lacked leadership and accountability.

After a 3-1 start, the Bucs have lost four of their past five heading into Sunday's game at Green Bay against the defending Super Bowl champion Packers.

Lombardi wrote Morris has "been making excuses for them all season."

"Being inconsistent happens,'' Lombardi wrote. "It happens because there is not a high level of competition at practice, bad practices are tolerated and there is no attention to detail. And all this occurs because no one is accountable.''

Morris was not specifically asked about Lombardi's column during his news conference Friday, but responded to it anyway.

"Here's the deal,'' Morris said. "When we were young kids, right? I went to school, I was 6 years old, 7 years old. And this guy saw my grandmother and said my grandmother ran like a bulldog. And I beat the heck out of him. I beat the heck out of him. I went home and my mom was so disappointed that I beat the heck out of him. She said, "Don't worry. It doesn't matter what people say about you. It doesn't matter what people say about your family.' So I learned that lesson a long time ago not to get upset with clowns that don't really know what they're talking about that have something to say. So we've moved on. I learned that lesson. I don't have to react to that kind of stuff.''

I always wondered about the different ways Foxboro is spelled:

Wiki said:
"Foxborough" is the official spelling of the town name, although the alternative spelling "Foxboro" is also frequently used. This alternative spelling is used by the United States Postal Service as the correct form by which to address mail to recipients in the town although both can be processed by their system. The sign on the post office reads "Foxboro."

Sounds pretty stupid :jnc

Just noticed something:

I believe San Francisco clinches the NFC West with a win and a Seattle loss.

Has an NFL team ever clinched a division in ten game or less?

Not the same thing but I do believe the Colts were elimnated before they had even hit their bye week at 0-10. May not have been the case, not entirely sure, but that would still be an amusing record to have.

Yes, Rob Ryan watched the Broncos play the Jets.

No, the Cowboys defensive coordinator didn’t like what he saw. For one, it was a loss for the Jets, who are coached by his brother Rex. For another, the Broncos won it with an offense he doesn’t like.

“I don’t like it because it’s college football,” Ryan said Friday at Valley Ranch, entertaining reporters during his weekly media session. “We’re getting a lot of two tight ends blocking for empty sets. Who would have ever thought that? This is the NFL. Those teams don’t win.”

Well, Denver did win. Tim Tebow ran 20 yards for the game-winning touchdown.

“Thanks for pointing that out,” Ryan said. “The guy made a hell of a play, though, didn’t he?

“Just a second. I’ll take a knee myself.”

I'm broken, I used to talk shit every week, now I don't even care since I know we're losing anyway.
We are so fucked, Lando Calrissian Field is way too hard to win in.

Do you know what my mom told me?
She told me I should root for a different team, like the Packers.
I looked at her like she was insane.

I've become the BurtPork of NFL-GAF.

You should listen to your mother. Squicken could use a friend.

You still wont admit he is one of the worst coaches in the nfl? well i guess like legendary said, good for the rest of us

The problem is that you've propped up so many shitty 49ers coaches as not shitty(and the one time you finally said your coach was shit was when he was Black...hmmmmm) that your word is about as worthless as Paterno's legacy.

P.S. - You're a racist.
