One of my t-shirt designs got picked up by teefury.com, keep an eye out for it...
if anyone's interested I'll post when, once I find out from them. :)

I love all of these actors in the roles. As already said, Renly and Loras show great improvement.

Stannis is younger than I imagined, Davos is older, but I think they both look great.

Excitement/hype meter ramping up.

Renly with a beard is hot as fuck.

Anyone complaining about Melisandre needs to go watch Black Death on Netflix and tell me she isn't perfect for the role.

Season 2 spoilers

Too bad new improved Renly will only be around for like an episode and a half

He lasts alot longer than that in the book. I imagine in the show he'll last even longer. I'm thinking he's going to eat it around episode 6.

Congrats! Looks really nice. Saw one the other day on there but felt it didn't fit with the show although it was kind of a neat idea. I like the look of this design.

Btw, promo looked great. Was kind of expecting more of a trailer instead of a behind the scenes thing but it was still cool. Oh, and Melissandre is the same woman as the witch in Black Death? Man, she was so freaking hot in there although she looked older than she does in this.

What happened? Both Renly and Loras look really hot now.

No Brienne was kind of lame.

I'm unsure of Melisandre, but that shot was only like two seconds.
And I've liked the other stuff the actress has done so...

Not really sure how they intend to move Jaime Book 3 stuff up while simultaneously moving Renly's death back.

My main complaint about Renly (well, after I started reading the books, before that I thought he was fine, unaware of the character descriptions) was that he's too puny. He's supposed to look like a young Robert, and the Renly in S1 was just kind of soft.

They can probably put some of those scenes in Episode 10 if they wanted to. Similar to how they moved up some Arya CoK stuff to S1 in the finale last year.

Although I'm still predicting they end Jaimie and Cat's S2 arc with Cat releasing Jaimie upon hearing of Bran and Rickon's "death".

This looks great, except I don't really care for the casting of Davos, not really how I pictured him, but I'm sure he'll rock on screen, the casting for this show has been perfect so far. This is making me want to push through and finally finish the third book, but it just feels so flat and off target.....

Jamie's arc at the end of the season will either be his escape from the ship on the river or him losing his hand.

Now THAT's how I pictured Renly and Loras to look in the books.

The chick who plays Mel is hot. Hoping she pulls off the character well.

You're not impressed based on a second of footage, none of which reveals her costume, acting, or voice? Jesus christ

She doesn't really fit with what I had imagined Melisandre to be. Like that hair looks pretty bad. As I said, I'll wait till there's more footage out.

I do have to say, I randomly caught the first episode a little while ago, having never heard of the series before (shame on me, I know), but seeing that first episode made me get all 5 books for my kindle. I'm hooked now. Wish I knew about this series before.

I assume you're done with at least the first book? If not you may wanna get out of this thread until then since this thread is like a minefield of spoilers...

The actor they got to play Stannis would actually be perfect for Davos in my mind.

Just from that small preview I can see that everything looks much more refined and fleshed out than in Season 1. I can feel the hype but I mustn't let it consume me.

Will the actress for margery be as "open" as she was when she was in The Tudors? That's the only show I know her from. She was good in that one, I guess.

Jamie's arc at the end of the season will either be his escape from the ship on the river or him losing his hand.

I don't think they will get to that part personally. Mainly because timeline wise, Theon and Bran's Arc doesnt line up properly with Jaimie and Cat's. With no Reek in S2, all indication points to Theon's Winterfell arc ending sooner than the book, which would mean that Cat's actions would have to happen later in S2 than what they would have otherwise.

I still stand by my prediction that Theon's arc will end with him taking Winterfell and faking Bran/Rickon's death. Which will coincide with Cat releasing Jaimie and setting up Brienne's journey in S3. It's an ideal finale scenario.

Plus you have to consider that Vargo Hoat and the Brave Companions are not in S2 either, which would mean some serious story changes would have to take place for Jaimie's hand cutting to show up in Season 2. Who would cut his hand off? Although that would make an awesome ending.

I think the elements of S3 the writers are talking about is going to end up being them showing Jaimie's escape attempt on screen, along with perhaps some dialog between him and Brienne moved up to the camp scenes.

Man, I've totally been picturing Davos as Desmond from Lost over the past few years, and Stannis as some older dude, so that casting pretty much throws those images out of the window

I would hope that the season doesn't end with a Bran/Rickon fake out. Hopefully they'll do it like the book and have the characters separate after leaving the crypts. Considering episode 9 will be the Blackwater battle, they might not have time or interest in ending that episode with a Bran/Rick fake out either, although it's obviously possible.

The fake out could be episode 10.

But in any event, I doubt we're going to see the actual burning of Winterfell and Bran/Rickon separation in S2. Mainly because Reek wasn't cast in S2 and likely will be introduced in S3 if he isn't cut entirely, which is unlikely considering his importance later on.

But in addition to that, Bran's material in SoS and Dance is very light. There's what 7 total Bran chapters combined in SoS, Feast and Dance? They'd have to spread those 7 chapters out over the course of like 3 seasons. Plus, Theon isn't even in SoS all. Ending Theon and Bran's arc early would save some CoK stuff for them to use in S3.

I can see Bran and company heading south in S3 and meeting up with the Reeds on the road to Riverrun or perhaps even the The Twins (In place of Arya, who could head to Riverrun instead with the Hound in S3 or S4). Then toward the end of season they go back to Winterfell and find it burnt down and Maester Luwin dying and that scene plays out at the end of S3.

Margarey, Renly and Loras look hot hot hot.

Stannis is definitely in my top 5 best characters of the series and while this Stannis doesn't really look how i imagined him, i don't mind, as long as he plays the part and keeps grinding dem teeth a lot, i trust the casting department on this. Can't wait to see him in action.

Yeah that's not how I imagined Stannis at all but maybe the acting will make up for the looks.

Anyway I'm so HYYYYPED, and I can't wait to see the (book2)
Dany scene in the palace of Dust

In this thread we can tell who has seen Black Death and who hasn't. :P

Everyone looks so badass and the sets look great. Dunno if HBO upped the budget for this season or if the producers just learned how to spend it better, but I am so hyped. I'm guessing we won't get a proper trailer for another month or two?
