Honestly, how good is the game? Is it an improvement over the previous SvR games? I think the last one I played was on the PS2. And you can create your own storylines right?
I really enjoy it, it's my favorite wrestling game of the last 2 gens and it has it's flaws you can defiantly tell they aimed to re-work the entire system and it shows, it defiantly shows that its the first in a new series and it has it's wonky animation moments but for the most part the gameplay is far more fluid, the animations look fantastic when they aren't wonky the AI is improved and most importantly (to me) the wwe universe (aka GM mode) is VASTLY improved over last year.

Last years GM/WWE 'Verse mode felt empty and not alive but this one feels more alive with a ton of more interference/cut-scenes the create a storyline is better.

I would say if you don't like the SvR games in general you won't like this because it still has that arcade'ish feel, you can tell they are trying to take the series in a more sim-like style but it's still arcade like.

It's defiantly worth $47 (what target is asking) for people who are on the fence, it's superior every SvR that has been released and is the game we should of got 5 years ago, i can tell the new "1X" series? i guess we would call it? is going to go to great places because you can really see they want change and not just the same game.

So yes the create a storyline is in it and its more refined, the WWE Verse is vastly superior, the RTRM is well RTRM.. it's ridiculous but better then the last 4-5 games, the CAW system is the CAW system and create-a-arena and titantron stuff is beyond awesome.

My only real complain is the hit sounds and the back stage brawling, they need to bring back full backstage brawling like in the first couple of SD games.

You should slap yourself.

You are all falling like fly's. THQ is laughing at you.
Unlike madden and Call of Duty they actually changed, refined and revamped a lot of stuff in this game, it still has its faults but its defiantly the best wrestling game this generation, the game we should of got back in 05-06

I honestly think the way WWE is handling Zack Ryder is actually helping him a lot more than most people would believe. By not having him on the show last night, that's only going to fuel the underground push from his fans to see him get the opportunity they feel he deserves -- which in turn leads to louder chants, more merchandise support, and more petitions on Twitter (all of which are good for the company and Ryder).

So Ryder is the CM Punk everybody wanted all along.

Never thought about it like that.

I never reflect the real world in my wwe 'verse.

But punk is the current champ in mine but he has been since friday (when i got it) i plan on having D-Bry chase and eventually win clean.

Yeah what do you think of it so far?
I am sitting here at work with it in my hands for another 3 hours :(

Every video I see looks terrible. The animations on the videos they show during the TV shows look hideous. WWE All Stars was great... I don't see this being the best of anything.

SS was actually pretty good...except for the actual team match didnt feel that one. CM Punk and ADR was a good match those two work well together. Henry and Show another shocking solid match, shoulder tackles, henry using holds, and big elbow off the top rope..wow. Dolph Ziggler just needs some big momenty to put him over the top he is READY, but honestly i say give him a long dominating US title run give the title some prestige THEN let him and cody fued to see who gets both belts. The Rock still has it, what else can i say he did botch a kick to the stomach on Truth tho lol . Overall like a 7/10 or so good in ring stuff , but that in ring action highlights how enjoyable the product can be IN SPITE of bad writing most of the story lines are horrid in wwe.

Just for reference, definitely means to be definite, defiantly means to be defiant.

And I'm with Keyser on this one. Yuke's have been building on seriously rickety foundations for a while now. All this "back to the drawing board" stuff is just fluff. After all this time, it still suffers from fundamental problems like wonky animations and completely fucked collision detection. The amount of polish in the UFC series puts the WWE games to shame.

When is the next RAW/ppv in long island? Because whenever that Isis when the trigger could be pulled.

So, I'm pretty sure I'm not the only Hockey fan in here, but do any of you read the Puck Daddy blog over at sports.yahoo.com/nhl?

A few of their writers definitely love wrestling. I think it was the season preview for this season they likened each team to a wrestler or their theme (though that may have been last years?) Anyway!

So today they had their "What we learned" which outlines somethings that may have happened to a team.

For Detroit they had: Detroit Red Wings Presented by Amway: Clearly taking a page from Shawn Michaels, Pavel Datsyuk(notes) has found his smile again.

That made me chuckle.

Wrestlezone is reporting that Morrison is leaving the WWE, but won't be going to TNA or any other fed. Instead he'll be going into... Wait for it... Acting.

God Bless Piper

edit:

I only bought one wrestling game in my life.....

Big Show could've been one of the biggest stars of all time, but WWF ruined him.

There was a Wrestling Observer Radio where Meltzer was talking about Vince's plans for Big Show when he brought him over from WCW. He was going to use him like his dad used Andre: only used occasionally, never lost and a seperate attraction from the title picture. He then just had Austin beat him pretty much straight away.

Big Show is really a once in a lifetime talent. The size, strength, agility, etc. Unlike Andre you can understand Big Show, and is good on the mic and charismatic. Also he can work, which is probably why they didn't use him sparingly.

The problem with Big Show is that he suffers from the Worf Effect. Every new major star goes through him on their way to the top just to show how unstoppable they are, whether they deserve to be a top star or not

I dont even think JoMo knows what the wrestling work is like outside of the WWE bubble so its probably better off he at least try and do something different.

such a shame. A great in ring talent having his career ruined by a women who cheated on him more times then Cena won the wwe title.

He is still young so hopefully he can come back to the E.

Is anyone else amazed that Orton of all people is putting talent over? Henry, Barrett, Cody (sort of). He's losing clean, but is still a huge face and hasn't lost momentum. I am literally shocked that he's been out of the WH title picture for as long as he has.

yeah I noticed that as well.

He actually loses clean and helps elevate other talent on the roster instead of Cena style beating everyone and only losing in a screwjob finish.

Morrison can go to TNA and be world champ, make 6 figures, and have Melina with him. I doubt he will turn them down.

I bet you anything within 6 months Abyss will give melina the good ol' black hole slam.

Not to mention Orton has more than 5 moves. I actually enjoy watching his matches compared to Cena when u kno he just repeats his 5 moves sequence at least 2 or 3 times a match.

It is kind of surprising. I was wondering why he didn't get boo'd like Cena did last night. Then I remembered that the title Mark Henry is holding isn't a custom designed championship with an Apex Predator/Viper motif.

They definitely need to redesign Sin Cara's mask. It's hard for him to see with that thing on. Hopefully they wont release him I definitely want to see a Rey vs Sin Cara program.

You would think it would be logical for Orton to snap eventually with this loosing streak. IMO, at this point that is what his character needs. He's become boring again. WWE probably won't do that though, they need to keep the sedated viper around to sell merch.

Oh shit, I didn't even remember Ultimo Dragon being in WWE. Must have been one of the years I wasn't watching.

There wasn't much to see. Vince hated him from the start of his debut against Shannon Moore because he thought his finisher was "fake." He was a Velocity (Smackdown b-show) regular for most of his tenure. His most memorable moment was slipping and sliding all over the place at WM20, which had to be incredibly embarassing for him considering the only reason he even signed with WWE was due to his life-long obsession of wrestling in Madison Square Garden. I don't think he had a PPV match his entire tenure other than WM20. He only signed a one-year deal and went back to Japan in July 2004.

CM Punk talks shit about The Rock's backstage behavior to the New York Daily News:

"You know, the thing about that is, he's not around. He's not around. It doesn't help morale when the guy goes right from his limo to the dressing room to the dressing room to the ring. He's very bourgeois Hollywood."

CM Punk told the paper that The Rock has made little effort to interact with the rest of the locker room.

"He came back, he did WWE Raw after that. He said he was never gonna leave. And the next time we saw him is a month later. Yeah, it does bother me. A little hello would have been nice. He could have run by with his own entourage."

Punk was asked if The Rock is a diva. He replied:

"I can't say that. At least the WWE Divas say hi to me in the halls."

Wwe '12 will be extrodinary in Creations alone

I'm hoping to recreate my tag team of Peter Griffin and Deadpool. They better still have that entrance with the jeep and the American flag involved. Just have to rip Real American into the 360 hard drive and voila!

Things I learned from that blurb:

1. It's a work.
2. Punk rising above the hate to support his best friend, John Cena.
3. That championship title is staying exactly the way it is.
Don't stretch the truth.
You knew all those things prior to reading that blurb.
