Bleach is out

"Soul Society is horrible! The badge monitors us and reduces our power!"
Because God forbid that the SUBSTITUTE Shinigami is given 100% free range to do what wants. Forget all the risks involved like ABUSE OF POWER. God this is stupid.

That badge was used for a few throw away jokes at the very beginning of the manga and now its supposed to be a super serious plot point that also limits Ichigos power? FFS Kubo stop making shit up on the fly.

Also, why didn't Ichigo go Bankai from the very beginning of his fight?

I tend to avoid manga like this by choice(not saying they're bad) however are you for real man?
I am so for real you don't even know, maaaaaaaaaaan.

Typical Shinigami sympathizer. What happened to human rights?

We are the 99%, #occupysoulsociety

Is this really that mind blowing , considering that during the Pre Arrancar Arc some , even some of the Vice Captains didn't know that their powers had limits when entering from SS.
Weird that Aiken dint tell Ichigo this nugget of information. He seemed to have all bases covered.

Bleach C

As much as this twist makes perfect sense, why is Ukitake wanting to observe Ichigo really so villainous or bad? Seems logical and sound to me. With that being said Ukitake is awesome and I always kind of suspect he was Aizen-like.

Bleach

Kubo has delivered magnificently. Utilizing Ukitake in some role other than a sickened state makes things interesting though more importantly, Bankai! Most curious about the commentary that Urahara would provide about it.

The first chapter of the arc revolved around the badge, so I really doubt he's "making it up on the fly."

Because Ukitake never made some of the disclosures he was supposed to make under the Soul Society version of Megan's Law.

Also curious as to why Issin is of no use according to Urahara? Cause he's a hot head ? Or not strong enough ? Or just bad Father /son relations.

Bleach

Ok Ginjou did have a point about Ichigo's spirit being all over the place when he rages something fierce. Otherwise, pretty weak chapter but leaves the door open for greater potential revelations. As it stands, I too voice the meh reaction.

I think it's due to the fact that no-one ever told Ichigo what was actually happening. I suppose he's going to feel betrayed that everyone lied to him now.

Also he'd be pretty pissed off that they were actively trying to suppress his powers. Ichigo the character goes out of his way to protect his friends. By restricting his power it makes it more difficult to protect them. I imagine Ichigo would be angry about that.

Oh...okay

Not sure how that makes him big bad worthy but whatever, Kubo will come up with something that makes us hate Ukitake no matter how much sense it lacks

Or bring up the fact that Captains and Vice Captains alike gave some of there power to get his powers back through the ( Rukia Stab)

I mean if there was a risk of Ginjou telling this secret to Ichigo, why did they let Ichigo fight him or get that close with him?

This...the second Ginjou came into contact with Ichigo they should have taken him out, especially when he started bringing up the badge and stuff

Why is Yozora such a bitch? Meat is just chilling and hanging out and then fucking Yozora insults her like that

Well guess what Yozora, the MC ain't choosing you in the final chapter. So suck on that.

Meat ending. BELIEVE IT

Bleach 474:

It's Ace's Tattoo from One Piece all over again, although at least the "addition" in that case was something significant to the story. Ukitake and the badge reveal just isn't that big of a deal as "almost" everyone else in the thread has stated (and I have no idea why Kubo thinks this is supposed to be shocking). I could understand if Ukitake was gathering Ichigo's Reiatsu for some sinister purpose, but as it stands this is just an issue of Soul Society keeping secrets. And considering these guys just went out of their way to help Ichigo/get his powers back, I don't see why Ichigo would get upset.

And any person above the intelligence of a brick would realize that Ichigo is a mercenary. Therefore, keeping tabs like this is probably the best thing. I mean, Ginjou is proof that this is a policy that should be continued.

I....I...what the fuck. I like the twist and all, but WHY Ukitake of all people? WHY? WHY? WHYYYY? What the fuck kind of motive could he possibly have? SMFH

Bleach
I really don't get what's so shocking about this. Ichigo is a walking nuke as far as SS is concern. They'll be irresponsible not having contingencies in place.

I wonder if Ukitake's sickness has anything to actually do with it. It also doesn't seem like it's that out of the ordinary considering the Captains and such have limiters on them in the human world.

I like the "twist", of course there's still some untruth to what Ginjo says, we'll see what the fallout is. I imagine Ichigo's going to still be working with SS.

Soul Society is an ORGANIZATION. Ichigo is not a part of it. Wouldn't you keep taps on someone like that?

Yep and besides whom better than the unassuming sick guy anyway.

Yeah, not seeing the big deal about Soul Society's actions either. It may have caused Ichigo some problems in the last arc, but what they did was perfectly sensible.

Yep. Sena just sat there while calling her incompetent... :P

Not that I'm denying what you said about Yozora though. They're both pretty terrible, but Sena's like the lesser of two evils.

[EDIT] - Naruto is out.

Naruto

████████ needs to be revealed already, the suspense is too much, and I honestly think there is no way Bee and Naruto can defeat those foes and break his mask without some type of mid battle power up or assistance. Capturing Bee and Naruto would make for a compelling outcome. With Kishimoto not afraid to actually have villages at the brink of destruction, I could actually see the moons eye plan coming to near completion. I liked the chapters dialogue and attacks.

Naruto F

I can't even tell what the fuck I'm supposed to be reading anymore. The art and action is abysmal, and if I wanted to watch skinny ass boy-toys making stupid poses and doing even stupider shit while trying too hard to be DEEP, I'd play Kingdom Hearts. This shit is progressively getting worse and can only get even worse with the reintroduction of Sasuke into the storyline.

Naruto

Badass chapter. The fight against the other hosts won't be that easy.

The Tobi/Madara shit is stupid. Just take off your mask already.

You've described what's been going for how long now?

Also I couldn't have been the only person to think the headbutt thing was real until this chapter right? I thought it was an ending page art and nothing else.

Maybe you should just stop reading it then. Problem solved for everyone.

Perhaps it is time to drop the series? Surely there are other long running series worth your time. I cant see how the chapter was that abysmal. ████████ finally comfirming the coffin contents and getting agitated at Kabuto was definitely one bright spot, and the action of all those jutsus as well.

Honestly you think for so long Kishi will at least do something different.

Now all of the zombies have the Rinnegan/Sharingan combo, coupled with abysmal art this week that makes HxH's scribbles look like masterpiece work.

Not pleased at all by this chapter

those dead jinchuriki have some really cool ability, really like Yagura's ability

Naruto and Kyuubi is gonna be BFF soon at this rate

all signs point to Tobi not being a final boss and Madara is probably the real deal now. he'll probably break free from Kabuto soon, destroy 5 kages so that leave Naruto to deal with him.

...must...not...feed him.

I always wonder where villains get their gear. I can understand someone like Ganondorf, who just wears normal stuff from his tribe, or Sauron, who is a master smith.

But for solitary entities like Madara/Tobi? Did he commission the mask or did he make it himself? Did he draw designs? Did he discard masks he thought looked ugly?

The mind reels.

Somewhere in the ninja world there is an old lady running an arts-and-crafts kiosk at a swap meet who is responsible for gearing up unspeakable evil.

This is the only possible conclusion!

I just really don't understand the logic of someone that seem to hate/abhor a series on such a profound level and yet continues to subject himself to that same series over... and over... and over... and over... again. I mean, it's just normal, human logic to only subject yourself to things that you enjoy instead of things that you hate, yes? Why would someone continuously inflicting to himself things that he hates?

For what reason a person is doing that to himself? Just for the sake of hating and complaining?

...that's just pitifully sad.
