Dunno why you think new people would join Shanks. Seems a bit random at this point.
For one, the callback about the badge (though, we already got this in the beginning of the arc), secondly, the callback about the Soul Society dude saying he wasn't aware of what the Shinigami Representative Badge was at all, which at first seemed like an unimportant fact because everyone thought he was just an idiot, but was actually important because of the fact that the badge is foreign to most people in SS.
At least that's what I think is being referenced.
i'm thinking a few people from whitebeards crew likely joined him. maybe even one of the supernovas. i don't want shanks crew to stay the same. i want to see his and blackbeards crew grow in power. no way blackbeards crew stays the same till the end.

I don't think Blackbeard crew is getting any bigger outside of artificial size growth. They already got 10 members which is enough for the 10 SH members they will fight.

Akainu's justice can be taken from his actions of burning Robin's homeland, Ohara, down completely in order to demolish all evil. At this time, Aokiji used to have a board that said "Blazing Justice", but after thinking about it for so long, his thoughts and will all came to a settle on "Lazy Justice". In these past two years, there was this big "happening" that occurred among the Marines. I want to draw that happening so bad I'm getting flutterflies. Please enjoy it in the canon sometime in the future.

As far as this one goes, i hate him for being morally corrupt individual with superiority complex. He let Kaien die in front of his own eyes because of bullshit pride. Kaien in TBTP arc did not even want to become a LT. Ukitake insisted that Kaien becomes his LT. It lead Kaien to left for dead, because Ukitake is a fucking douche. The arrogant part is Aizen puts it like it is
I hate him because he declares himself to be peaceful yet he does all this kind of shit, and still considers himself peaceful

Yep i don't see BB crew getting bigger since they need to have same number as the SH .
well the big change is likely akainu becoming fleet admiral and the marines becoming much more harsh.

I forgot to mention one thing. Ishida has made a remark on the badge the first time he saw it. So thi significance of the sub shinigami badge was definitely planned long time ago.

I'm not really I'm sure that's sufficient for me to buy that it was totally planned out. I'm hardly calling it an asspull. A bigger problem for me is that I have little interest in watching Ichigo and Ginjo fight each other.

Same here. I think Kubo realized it was as boring to draw as it was to read, so he just added what will hopefully be a little excitement into the mix with this Bankai.

But his Bankai is just a Super Saiyan analogue. His Bankai was cool exactly once; when he hit all the Senbonzakura petals. The problem is that it's seemed crappier ever since.

Actually most of the good battle related stuff from Ichigo came from his hollow's involvement.

Even then it didn't really impress: "He got faster? What? And a different colored energy attack? umm... ok? Why would you need a bankai for that?". You're right it's a super saiyan analogue, but it's much worse in bleach since other characters at least get an interesting special ability with their bankai, while the main character just gets "cooler" clothes.

Yeah, but in context it was a LOT faster than what we were led to believe you could even go. You have to remember this is prior to everyone being able to inexplicably fly.

The manga art is ugly as shit though, if you can stomach that I hear the story is great. Basically it's about a loser called Kaiji who gets saddled up with an enormous debt. He is told he can clear the debt by getting on a certain cruise ship and winning at a game there. But if he loses his debt will grow even more.

True, but it seemed like Kubo finally started to deviate from that nonsense with Fullbring, so I'm hoping that Fullbring + Bankai can add something we haven't seen before.
I will be disappointed when all he does is look cooler and have a bigger Getsuga Tenshou.

I guess so. But bleach being a shounen battle manga I found it hard to believe that other characters wouldn't be getting faster some how too. It didn't really take long before the bankai couldn't even keep up anymore. Also I find it hard to gauge if he was faster even than the chick with the big boobs who could turn into a cat for some reason and now no longer does.

I'm just referring to the fact it's pretty clearly a swastika (and no, I'm pretty sure Tite Kubo is not a Nazi supporter, it's just the same shape). You could hand wave it by arguing that everyone else just caught up DBZ style, but the effect was that Bankai got worse. This is partially why I really didn't get why Naruto needed a new powerup since Sage Mode hadn't really gotten obsolete.
Speaking of Naruto this week, obviously just a build up chapter, but given Tobi's little speech, it's going to be disappointing/letdown if he doesn't unmask him by the end of the fight. I always suppose he could lose, and there's always going to be someone who bitches that Bee and Naruto are fighting him simultaneously.

In terms of fighting ability, Caribou would most likely get destroyed by all the top SH as they are now...but I can see him hanging around like a bad smell for a while...

I really wouldn't have a problem with Ichigo's bankai being "nerfed" if he didn't spam the same technique all the time.

He doesn't have Fullbring, although I'm fairly confident he'll get it back at some point unless this whole arc was meaningless.
The entire purpose of Bleach is posing and warping behind people.
He does have Fullbring, though. At least, he still has remnants of it. That's why his Shikai looks slightly different, he still has small pieces of his old Power Ranger gear on him.

I think that's just rule of cool and not indicative that he has any particular powers from Fullbring.
It's almost ironic that Kubo's main talent is drawing characters looking cool in various outfits but almost all of the characters wear identical black haori's at all times.

Y'know, I used to really enjoy a lot of the locations and settings for Naruto's battles, if a fight had any significance it'd be in a historic location or some recogniseable and awesome place.
That being said why is this fight taking place in a generic forest of all places?
This doesn't feel like an insane boss battle, it feels like a random encounter.

How many memorable locations are there, anyways? The entire Naruto world is covered in generic forests in the same way the entire Bleach world is covered in flat black or white and the same way the entire One Piece world is now covered in ten billion random things designed to cause your eyes to explode.
