So... I get that Morrison got jobbed to shit cos Melina was a pain in the ass. And I get that he was treated like shit when she left, and rarely won any matches. But how did people know that he was gonna leave? I mean, I saw him getting "punished" and understood why, but assumed they would just stop eventually. How did people know he was gonna staright leave, before any official announcement?

Del Rio's Rematch got bumped from TLC to next week so Cener can get the title back as quickly as possible duh.

Possible spoilers:
dirt sheets are reporting that Miz is in line for another title push. They're not gonna do Cena/Miz again.
I honestly think Punk's keeping the belt until WM at least.

I'm hoping the WWE title reigns get a bit longer again. Ever since the summer they've been averaging under a month.

I'm not saying have some more disgusting year+ reigns from Cena, just have it at least 3 months before you even consider changing. Punk holding the title until WM at least would be the best idea.

Henry holding the WHC until WM (which still seems likely), along with his strong booking, is returning a lot of prestige to the title. It seems more like a real prize than a prop like the WWE title has become lately.

Because it's typical WWE. They burry their wrestlers if their contract is ending or hasn't been renewed. They were doing the same with Punk until he did the shoot promo.

Cener will win the title in Hell in a Cell at the very latest.

Why the hell is Zack Ryder's #areyouseriousbro the top trending topic on twitter right now? wtf lol

WWE pays Twitter now to get stuff to trend.

Before Twitter filtered everything out and only random stuff like anal bleeding and Super Shredder snuck through.

Realistically speaking, it doesn't matter how long Punk holds the title. Why?

The answer is simple: Just look at the WWE title belt itself.

The belt needs to be nuked, on live television if WWE were to ever want us, the fans to take feuds that revolve around it seriously.

As long as it looks the way it looks, it will always be synonymous with John Cena. With Cena somehow having an infinite rematch/number 1 contender clause, it doesn't matter who holds the title, because it will always be seen as someone keeping the belt warm for Cena to regain it eventually.

Designer belts are okay to support a long term reign and help a storyline, but when it's being hotshotted back and forth the way it has for a long time now, you are already expecting Cena to overcome whatever odds to get the title back. I know this won't happen because somehow WWE is content with the status quo, but CM Punk's next step should be to blow up the title/trash the title and reintroduce either an old design like Rhodes did or introduce a new design that doesn't look as fucking ridiculous (WWE CHAMP, really?) for 2012.

John Morrison's last day with WWE is next Monday. TNA is interested in bringing him and Melina in as a couple and having him be the star attraction of the X division. They want him to feud with Austin Aries. He could actually appear at the Tuesday tapings next week if they fly him straight in.

I am watching TNA from Bound to Glory to Turning Point right now. I'm on the 3rd Impact. I'm mad how they did Velvet Sky build up, don't care for the Vets vs Rookies in the X-Division and how Bobby Roode had new tights and theme music before James Storm. You can see what they foreshadow it.

No non-compete clause?

Only happens when you are released(WWE gives you a 30 day severance package with the condition that you can't be on TV for someone else durring that time). If your contract expires you can start working for someone else right away. WWE can't tell you what to do after your contract is over.

As we mentioned on the hot news hotline yesterday, John Morrison is scheduled to finish up with WWE at the 11/28 Raw.

We have heard that TNA is definitely interested in bringing him in, with some sources saying that they would like to pair him up with Melina. There is also talk of making him be a star in the X Division and having him work a program with Austin Aries.

If/when he goes to TNA, he will have to use a new ring name as WWE owns the "John Morrison" moniker.

I actually would be ok with that.

For real, the title switched 9 times since May. Pretty insane. I thought for sure we would get a new belt after Punk won the first time this summer, but that wasn't the case.

I'd love Punk to have a nice long reign until WM or after. The last reign over 100 days was Miz.

Cody pulls out the patented Goldust lip curl sneer at the end of this clip. Too awesome. Tribute to his big bro!
He does it pretty often and its in character and a good tribute but I don't know how close the two are. I read that before Cody was in WWE they didn't really talk much.

Yeah, I know the belt itself is most of the reason the prestige is gone, but I've given up all hope of it changing.

It's had three major prior designs to that since the 80's. A return to any of those three would be fantastic, or a new design. But they just don't seem to hear it, they don't see anything wrong with that hideous, malformed piece of garbage.

Just look at the Divas championship. That was approved as a title. That design was approved. Not only that, but they decided it was worth continuing instead of the simple but classic Women's Title design.

So yeah, I gave up hope that it'll be changed, so I'm relying on strong champions and strong reigns to restore some of its glory.

Why not use his ACTUAL name (aka John Hennigan)? It's not terrible sounding.
Although, I suppose he could also come in as Gunner's brother, Bullet.

I like the Bullet idea. They can be a tag team where their finisher would be Gunner throwing Bullet at their opponents.

I wonder what he would use as a ring name? Johnny Nitro?

Nope WWE owns that. Plus I can honestly say JoMo if he was sensible to go to TNA, yes the schedule is better but risking your body, and unprotected chair shots and drugged up wrestlers being allowed in main events. Why go for what 1000 fans in the impact arena? When he could be performing in a dark match for 15k fans.

So the match listing for "WWE best ppv matches 2011" dvd/blu-ray is up for those interested and it looks pretty solid to me, it's one way to get CM Punk/Cena at MITB on blu-ray since the ppv itself is not on blu-ray.
Don't know why they don't wait until the year is over for these sort of things though, there might be an absolute corker of a match at TLC, well I can hope for such things.

Chris Jericho's character was pathetic the last time I saw him in WWE.

If he's coming back he should grow out his hair and be the old Jericho like in the WCW days.

When I saw that the Blu-ray was two discs, I inexplicably thought there was a third disc still to be filled. Looking back, that doesn't making any sense.

I'm very much looking forward to owning Punk/Cena in high definition.

Cody, Ziggler and Punk are all making me happy that I watch WWE, believe it or not.

Hell, throw in Mark Henry and Wade Barrett in there too.

I guess it's a nice change from the usual Cena/Orton title holding scraps we are given.

There's a bit of a difference between what happened to the Divas title and the Women's title though: They were not designer belts the way the "spinner" belt was to John Cena when it was introduced in 2005 (almost 7 years ago, damn).

When Cena lost the US belt, they didn't keep the spinner belt he wore, they just reverted back to the one Dolph Ziggler is wearing now.

if JoMo and Melina do go to TNA we need to make a bet on how many weeks it will take before a report of Melina sleeping with someone else on the TNA roster.

I give it 2 months.

The funny thing is that since Morrison's deal is expiring and he's not being released, he could show up on TNA as early as December 1.

His deal expires on November 30.

Believe it or not, Drew McIntyre was pretty awesome in that match.

I honestly thought that was his breakout match and he was destined to be a more permanent fixuture in the upper card. Not the case, though.
