Right at the beginning, a couple of minutes in, Steve McKinney calls in. His dad is Mike McKinney, who was Rick Perry's chief of staff at one point and a chancellor at A&M.
Anyway, he mentions he talked with some of the big donors there, and they all want Sherman gone. But they all felt a sense of helplessness since "the good old boy network" seemed to want to keep Sherman.
It's funny b/c his dad would almost certainly be on anyone's list of "good old boys" in Texas.
Nothing really dramatic, so anyone hoping for a breakdown will be disappointed. But I thought it was an interesting interview
