Fickell on the verge of tears during this press conference. feel bad for the guy, he got put in a hard situation and thrown to the wolves, and just told good luck.

Yeah, Fickell got a raw deal.

He'll be a great head coach some day, but he was put in an impossible situation.

In any case, I can guarantee it won't take us 2,926 days for us to beat Michigan again.

Holy shit, so sick of those Toomer's Oaks. "Verne, I went by there and the oak trees look sickly; they have no leaves on their branches in late November."

IT'S FUCKING WINTER.

Mmm. My iPhone 4s battery lasts so much longer on Gameday than my android. Makes keeping up with games while tailgating or roamIng campus reall easy.

UF must have installed a fiber line or two. Getting a router-limited 20/20 mbps without fail. Stunning speeds.

I still think Alabama is the best team in the nation.

I guess we will
kinda
find out come early Janurary.

Edit: Oh yeah I forgot about Bama's Achille's Heel: Field Goal Kicking

Dat plane crash, short week and inexplicable sequence of fuck-ups.

Just wait, LSU will be lobbying for us too.

No way should they have to play Bama again after winning in Tuscaloosa.

Should be OSU or VaTech (or Stanford if Oregon loses today).

Someone needs to dig out video of all the ESPN talking heads insisting that teams that didn't win their conference can not play for the title. Let's see how many SEC $$$ it takes to make them change their tune.

Pretty sure Herbstreit at least is on record saying that he's changed his mind on that. And Virgina Tech has no business in the MNC talk. Their only role is to siphon votes away from OSU as far as I'm concerned.

Of course they change their mind if its the SEC. They'll change their mind back again next year if it is some other conference. Bunch of little bitches.

No way OSU should play LSU with that schedule.

Have you looked at Bama's schedule? You wouldn't be saying that if you had.

Teams that don't even win their division, much less their conference (and avoid the best teams from the other division) shouldn't play for the MNC.

If we beat OU, we'll be undisputed champs of the second-best conference. We deserve our shot.

Well Herbstreit is a hypocrite. You don't get to make broad statements and just change your mind because you feel like it.

Bama's only argument is that they're a traditional power and were more highly-regarded at the beginning of the season. If we had "Sooners" on our jerseys we'd be in prime position with a Bedlam win.

You lost to IOWA STATE. If we'd lost to Florida or lose to Auburn you wouldn't and won't hear a peep out of me about playing for a MNC game.

I'm not looking forward to that matchup if it comes to be. Wisconsin's defense looked bad against Illinois when they were running a hurry-up offense. Illinois.

Considering how we've looked the past two weeks, I think it'll be closer than that. Not sure how good Wisky's receivers are though..? Aberdaris (sp?) is nice.

Abrederis is our #2 receiver. He's definitely looking great today; I'm guessing there is a coverage mismatch since Penn is putting their best DB on Toon and Abrederis's speed is effective in slipping it into the zone.

This is a fairly abnormal game for Wisconsin in terms of the number of pass plays being called, especially on first downs.

You can bring up the ISU argument all you want. Bama hasn't played any Big 12 teams, so you can't actually judge how good they are in comparison. Fuck the BCS, make some super conferences, have a playoff go down. Then you can say ISU beat OSU all you want because OSU is still probably the best team in the Big 12, and could easily give Bama or LSU a run for their money.

I like you.

You don't lose to a bottom dweller in your conference and not get punished. OSU's punishment is sweating it out and (as it stands now) most likely being on the outside of the MNC picture. As much as you guys want it to count, winning your conference/division doesn't matter at all to the BCS. You can only hope for a voter revolt, because, short of that, the MNC game is going to be an all SEC affair.

Do you wanna see the two best teams play or do you wanna see the game that looks the best on "paper"?

The thing is, it doesn't need to be much of a voter revolt. We need to have about 25% of the human voters put us ahead of you since we'll be undisputed #2 in the computers.

A decisive win over OU might give those voters reason to put us in.

One "Game of the Century" was enough for 99% of the country.

SEC is so overrated.

Wisconsin would pound any of the SEC teams not named LSU.

Get the fuck out of here.

You need 25% of the second place votes and then the rest have to be third place votes. With VaTech winning (and hopefully Stanford) I like our chances.

Yep

Right now, OSU has a lot of 5th and 6th place votes
