College Football Week 13: Rivalry Week! (fucla!)

I agree, especially since Michigan is now in the mix and teams like Houston and the BEast champ will be taking up spots we deserve.

A win over OU would mostly redeem the season. If you had told any OSU fan before the season that we'd win the Big 12, beat OU and go 11-1, we'd take it. It's only because we had such prime position to play for the MNC that it feels slightly disappointing.

The Bowls love their established brands. Once Michigan had a decent enough resume, they were in. And really, OSU needs to earn it. There's no reason to lose to OU. I'm with you on the circumstances around the ISU loss. It was a fluke and it cost you your shot, but beating OU, winning the Big 1x, and winning the Fiesta is a hell of a season

Nesler: "Hey, if LSU gets upset in the SEC title game, should they only drop to #2 and face an Alabama team that didn't even play in that game for the MNC?"

Herbstriet: "Heck yes!"

"The Eye Test" is the football equivalent of religious faith.

How can you question what someone else holds to be self-evident?

This ND-Stanford game is gonna raise my blood pressure to Brian Kelly levels.

The Irish are unbelievably awful.

No. They're an elite team, Stanford's just that good ;)

Announcers on VS wondering why Stanford is behind Va Tech.

David Shaw said the same thing... Other than today, I'd say VT has just been lucky to have had their loss the earliest. They did look fantastic today...

I'm conflicted. I want Stanford to win, but I want Luck to look as awful as possible in doing so.

150 yards, 3 TD, 1 Int. If he can get to 4TD's and as least 250 yards, I think Luck's all year campaign would lift him to the heisman. Given that Gerhardt was completely robbed 2 years ago, I'd be glad to have him win it over an Arkansas running back. (I actually thought Richardson was the best RB in Alabama back in 2009).

Of course, Griffen is looking fantastic, but he's been knocked out of the game...

(BTW, I love this multiple quote thing... :) )

Man, this shit is like the Florida-Auburn game all over again. Except Florida State is worse on offense and better on defense.

But that doesn't matter. Because the Florida offense can't score on anybody.

Just when the Tech boards are starting to say the game is over, their massive RB fumbles and possibly goes out of the game with a concussion.

Not going to be a pretty win if we manage to do it, with RGIII and their RB going down, but I'll take a win however we can get it at this point. Have to keep the bowl eligibility streak going.

::edit::
Mother fucker.

So, even with a loss in the SEC Title Game, the SEC is guaranteed at least one spot in the MNC, and frankly, my guess is the only other possible MNC spot will go to the Bedlam winner if it doesn't go to another SEC team.

Who is going to be good in the SEC next year?
It's the SEC, stop blaspheming. Once the front-runner has been anointed, they'll make sure the champ plays for the MNC.

If there's not a worthy team, they'll pool their money to find the next Cam and have an NBA-style lottery to see who gets him.

Now go sit in a corner for questioning their inherent superiority.

Lol at Striker Obi's tweet:

Gators fans, have fun at the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl. Good news: Charlie Weis is undefeated against hunger.

LSU is already in the title game even if they lose and deservedly so. They've handled an absolute monster of a schedule.

Still definitely in this game, but our margin for error has gone way down.

Down by three scores, but there's an entire quarter left and Baylor appears to have lost both their starting QB and RB. Without Ganaway I don't think the deep pass is going to be as available for Florence as it has been the rest of this half.

It's also a matter of who travels well for these big bowls. I went to the 1994 Hall of Fame Bowl where Michigan played NC State. Attendance was 52,649 and I think about 80% of the crowd was Michigan fans. Michigan will put asses in the seats guaranteed which is more than some schools can say.

Vanderbilt is a legit SEC team.

They would win any other conference if they were in it.

They would kick OK State's butt.
Lies. They can't handle our Big 12 speed.
