Gay and Bisexual relationship thread |OT|

I just found out that me ex, whom I still love very much broke up with his rebound guy. I kind of want to contact him again and see if we can rekindle something because my feelings for him haven't changed. We broke up 5 months ago, very much in love.

I'm not going to go into great detail of why we broke up, but I did something horrible to him. Basically, so long as I was doing what I was doing then, he said there is no future between us. I have changed and this is no longer an issue, so I'm wondering if it's a good idea to contact him.

My only concern is that his breakup is very new, just this Friday. We had absolutely no contact between those months. He said he wanted me to be in his life in some form then when we broke up, but I said no contact is essential. I told him I will contact him when I sm ready to have him back in my life, even just as friends. If I contact him so soon, it's kinda obvious what I'm doing. How should I approach this? Any advice is appreciated. I really do want him back, and I know that I don't what his feelings are, so I'm going to ask him head on, eventually. I just want to know the best way to do it.

I'm really starting to get sick of these videos. It's the "cool" thing for all of the tumblr kids and it's really annoying when I see at least three of these a week on my dashboard. It was okay for the first two or three videos I watched, but after watching nearly fifty of these videos with badly spelt cards it's just annoying. Even people on facebook who I know are happy (a lot of them used to be really close friends) post these flashcard videos with accompanying emotional music to whine about their "terrible" relationships and their friend drama.

In a video my friend posted, she said she had no one in her life and that she's all alone.. Of course 30 minutes later she posts a status along the lines of "having fun in the pool with Marissa, txt it!" She is one of the most popular girls at her school and is friends with a big circle of people. It's just hilarious to see her post a video like that. What's even more hilarious is the people post "omg you're such a trooper" and "omg let's hang out soon" in the comments of these videos. She doesn't even have problems like these in her life, she just wanted attention. A lot of people I know do the same thing and it's making these videos intolerable.

TLDR: People with problems (especially really insignificant ones) shouldn't post videos of themselves crying about it on the internet for sympathy. Ugh.

Cue angry people who don't agree with me.

Just never been into the gay scene, but got introduced to a ton of guys. I even got myself a workout buddy. I only hit a few people when I tried to dance, considering how crowded it was they got lucky. Now all I need is a fag hag, lol. Surprisingly lots of females there.

Well if you saw a friend post a video like that on facebook/tumblr you'd probably want to know what was wrong with them too. It's just that the majority of the time it's about really pointless stuff, or even things that were their fault. A girl I used to know posted a video about how she cheated and her boyfriend left her. She tried to make it seem like the guy was at fault for dumping her. He heard about the video and she eventually deleted it before he could see it. Of course a bunch of drama happened and a bunch of friendships were destroyed.

I understand that some people have actual problems (and I support someone looking for help online when they have no one in real life), but it's just annoying that some people post videos of everyday problems that everyone deals with and ride on the bandwagon of people who actually have problems. That's why these videos are annoying. Only a few people who post these videos have actual problems.

I think you should just give him some time. Maybe a few weeks. If you just start talking to him as soon as he breaks up with his boyfriend, I'd imagine it'd be really obvious. It really depends on the person though.
 
I was going to say something about the cockblocking, but wasn't sure if you meant that's what fag hags do or just straight girls in general who go to gay bars/clubs.

Either way, it's never been my experience and I can say that as someone who hangs out almost exclusively with the ladies. During the first few months of most of my friendships (i.e. hag bootcamp), they'd like to be hooking me up with people, but thankfully they understand fairly soon that I'm not interested and then it's all good.
 
Its just some of them like the attention from guys, so when another guy goes to take their 'man' or isn't receiving enough attention they get jealous or some shit and cockblock

Thats been my experience. This epidemic needs to end now
 
Well I was still trying to be friends with my friend today but I think things are just turning sour and I don't know why. I'm just gonna stop texting him or talking to him for a while and maybe things will cool down and he will call me up or something later on.

I've known him for a week, and it just so happened to be my birthday weekend, came over on my birthday and we drank and talked movies for 2 hours before we went to my friends house before the party, I was worried he was going to be a wallflower, but he was soooo comfortable and talkative around my friends, and at the party I didn't have to take care of him or feel like I had to babysit him, sooo refreshing after being with my ex of 3 years that would always be awkward in these kinds of social situations.

I was drunk, I couldnt help it, i inched closer and closer, till finally "I like you" came out of my mouth... thankfully, the response was "I like you too..." BAM, birthday kiss.

I got really drunk and crashed at his apartment, NOTHING HAPPENED, but I woke up in nothing but my underwear and i said to myself "great, of course I am wearing this pair of underwear"

I was wearing my pink american apparel briefs, way to wear the gayest pair of underwear imaginable.

That made my little heart happy. The best thing about break-ups is realizing that the person you were with wasn't necessarily perfect for you. Especially when you got together as such a young age.

Hard to believe it's already been 2 years since this post. Wasn't working so this anniversary was a lot better.

Oh, forgot to post pictures of the team I played a tourney of League of Legends with on the 20th. We placed second! Making a goofy face on the far left, lanemate's in the middle there.

i'm working on some personal stuff that is long overdue, but maybe over the christmas break i can look at stuff for you ;) i'll have 3 weeks off so i would really love to work on music.

2 and a half months. . . Jesus that's a long time man. If that's the type of person he is, then he's doing you a huge favor in the long run. Cheer up man, you're just one step closer to finding the right guy.

Well, now it's facebook official :p BF and I got back together last weekend though. Had a long talk and aired out pretty much all our issues/thoughts. So we're good now :)
